even the part where you said have patience. Don't think about finishing it quickly. I was in that thought process and I was like, "okay, I'll simmer down." Everything was in sync.

Have 5 chains mostly fine fused in ball been trying all day

Great advice, however my chain has multiple pendants on it. The pendants are knotted in the chain.

Jamming metal pins into the links can damage them. Gently tap with a toothpick to quicky relax the knot. Pull open using two toothpicks and tap a little more. FAST + EASY.

Easy way to untangle any jewelry chains is to use two toothpicks, or any non metal points. Place your Gordian knot on a smooth table and tap tap tap on knot to relax it with toothpick. Alternate between relaxing knot as needed and pulling away chains from each other with toothpicks. Untangles fast with no damage. ..
