How to unlock your Fisker Ocean if the car goes to sleep and won't unlock

We are loving our 2023 Fisker Ocean One in our family. It's a start up and sometimes there are road bumps... like the car not wanting to always wake up. But there are three ways to easily get it unlocked.

0:07 Clicking it 3 times (rapidly)
0:12 Lock then unlock
0:18 Key to door handle
Options:
1. Hit unlock multiple times (3+) BUT you need to do this quickly or
2. Hit lock then unlock or
3. Hold key against the door handle as shown in video

Oh interesting!! I do know they are working on it so hopefully won't be for too long.
Have you ever done a deep reset? Got some strange things happening.
Some people say the app works as a fallback. Would you consider a follow-up to demonstrate that? (sorry I have no car to try this myself!)

The app does unlock it (although I find it sometimes to be a bit slower)! I can def show that! Great idea :)
AWESOME Video... Some people said that the Fisker Never Turns off even after the Lock the car which then DRIANS the 12 Volt battery. Are you aware of this?

My interior lights haven't been turning off either (You can set them to always be off, but I haven't), I just wrote a technician and am waiting to hear back. I've had mine a few weeks and no issues with my battery training.
Ok I have a question. I really love the Fisker Ocean but what happens if it needs service? I know they are slowly rolling out dealers and shops in the US but I'm in MI and we wont have anything for a long time. Did they talk to you about that when you got the car?

The car shouldn't need much service - from my experience of past EV's. There isn't much to do besides tires and keeping that 12v alive - which won't require a Fisker specific place, I never took my other EV's to dealerships. But they do have a partnerships with Bridgestone which I believe is offering some service options soon.

@@jokerz4fun At least with software that can be updated OTA and think of Tesla they started with no stores or service centers either. I think we will be just fine :)

Unlocking the car should be the most basic feature of the car they couldn’t perfect that

It does work sometimes 😆. I know there was some changes with the keys so that probably is related but I know it will be fixed soon. It drives amazing!

Being a start up I expect things like this $80k or not, as first time users there will be road bumps. It drives magnificently and based on the recent crashes, incredibly safe.

More like early adopters who got access to free style upgrades worth thousands more for an in-demand vehicle in exchange for participating in the growing pains of a market entry vehicle, company, and software. Complainers are still complainers @@samadkins8101
$70k vehicle?? Sorry you have to deal with this. That car was 100% not ready for sale.

Eh to be honest I would have been annoyed it they held the car up for this, I personally prefer to have the car and enjoy driving it then wait for them to put out the fix they are working on. My personal preference though completely.

it's trash don't buy it!! All it's had is problems.
