+CROW1985 if it's unlocked you should be able to technically, but Verizon might not allow it on their network.

I dialed the *#06# and it just said dialing... it never showed me the IMEI number.. advice pls?!?

In the video, after the code was entered, I never saw it connect to a network. It only showed the circle with the slash through it.

yeah, depending on how old you are, hash or pound. That was a younger person that commented 1:16 - 1:24 or so

+jwou8122 It will only give the option to unlock it, when using a sim card that is not yet allowed. However, if you have tried multiple ones and it still does not give the option, then it is already unlocked.

It is an untrusted site with all negative reviews/. It is full of SPAM and never leads to an unlocked phone after numerous offers and commercials. BAD site DO NOT USE!!!

I went to the local Verizon store and the worker told me that AT & T and T-Mobile, which are GSM carriers, can both be used on the other phone, but not Verizon. He said that the difference is in how each provider sets up their phones. It is mainly a problem with data. I am sure that he also just wanted me to purchase a Verizon phone.

If you're up and running on your network already, but just not getting 4G, it sounds like your model phone will not support the 4G frequencies of the carrier you're on. Example, a Sprint Galaxy S5 can be used on Verizon or AT&T, but it will only get 2G and 3G data.

just go to the network shop you are using and get it done for free

it is a scam, at&t will unlock an at&t phone for free even if you're not a customer. go to www.att.com/deviceunlock/ and request it. Of course the phone must be paid off and have a clean imei, etc.

A factory reset will not unlock the phone. The carrier of the phone will give you the unlock code for free UNLESS you owe money on your account OR on the phone itself (if it's a leased phone or something).
