you take the bible very seriously. i love it. i never saw eclessiasties (dont know if i spelled it correctly) as a sort of "devils advocate" take on wisdom. Im probably going to reread that next with that in mind. Hope im not sinning by letting you educate me on bible literacy, lol. but seriously im also coming around and examining the arguements for egalitarianism vs complementarianism again, and i appreciate your honesty on that issue as well. dont listen to the haters on either side. come to the conclusions God leads you to despite what others say.

I was so depressed and anxious about everything I was going through in the past few months that I stoped reading the Bible and studying it. Your videos were constantly showing up and I just had to pick up my Bible and start healing, it's hard but needed. Thank God people like you exist🥺❤️❤️

I'm not sure I have really received a new approach to learn scripture. I will note that repeated words are a clue in any chapter. And the mentioned word enjoyment has different meanings such an equal meaning is satisfaction. That seems to fit the direction of the passage. This is a personal critique and you have presented a good video. Any tool that can assist in understanding scriptures, is always welcome. God Speed, Dwight

I truly admire your passion and method for deeper study into God's word. I myself have enjoyed digging deep into God's word and have spent untold hours of studying and meditating upon His word. My hunger for His word was unquenchable. Or as Pslams puts it; As the deer thirsts for the water, so Lord my soul thirsts after you. But now that I'm 75 years old I find my self returning back to the basics of the Bible. Or to put it as other's have; "the main things are the plain things, and the plain things are the main things" That's the rule I have adopted after having deeply studied the Bible for the past 35 years. The main topic I try to present to newer believers these days is The Assurance of Salvation and how to know for sure that you have become saved. Thank you for taking the time to make and post your wonderful videos.

Only Jesus can satisfy our souls! This was so good! The very first time I read my Bible straight through was the Bible project plan. They have some good videos. The second time I am using your plan. It definitely goes in depth, while allowing you to see the overarching themes in Scripture.

I've only read through the entire Bible once, over 20 years ago. There was so much I didn't understand and really didn't know how to study deeper. We had a Bible encyclopedia and a Bible dictionary. If they and my study Bible didn't help, I didn't know another way to look. I'm really happy I found your channel and that there are so many good reference tools online. I'm learning so much more in my study of Acts than I ever have when reading or attempting to study it before.

Thank you. I’ve learned so much about how to study the Bible from you. Tonight I did my first study, by your example, on 1st Chapter of Nehemiah. Game changer! I can’t wait to do the next chapter.

Yeahhhh its so hard and true before you understand the Bible i feel you thats why i continue learning and growing by the grace God to study in the Bible school and its so hard before but if we Love God , Jesus will continue to pour out His spirit to those who thirst Him and learning His Gods word thats why today i understand and humble myself to God to change me a good vessel than before 🥰🙏🏻✝️

I've been doing the david jeremiah bible reading plan for the year and I just got to lamentations in my bible

I am so happy to lèarn of Bible mapping. I am currently studying through the Life Change series, which I found on Christian book. It is excellent and encourages me to take a major dive into the scriptures. Going forward, to add diversity to my studies, I can begin a study by your mapping methods. I had to start from scratch when I first was reborn, and that hunger you speak of has simply grown with each study and with each day drawing me closer to the Lord. Thank you, you have a true gift. ❤ i do not have siri, so Ill just draw numbers the old fashioned way, by putting them into a bag.

This is so helpful. I never exactly understood that Ecclesiastes was bad wisdom. I mean, I knew that “all is vanity, nothing matters” isn’t true in our lives as believers…but I took it more to be truthful facts about what our lives would be WITHOUT God, and that everything is meaningless and temporary without Him. Which is also true, but hearing the background you gave was very helpful.

Thank you. I was wondering also. But, I am confused. What if SIRI had answered 5 when you asked her to choose a number between 1 and 5? I don’t quite understand the roulette board.

I like your video. but There's one thing though that I think we have to be careful of. That we aren't seeking a "an experience" or "feeling" about any given passage, because maybe it just isn't meant to. Because it's just the truth we're to rely on. One passage may have an effect on our emotions, while others don't and I think that's ok.

Some things can be dry and some things can be more emotional. For example science can be exciting, but there's parts that aren't exciting but can be even boring. But we need all parts of it for it to work both the dry and exciting.

We can’t rely on our emotions to define our relationship and experience with God, or else we will be left disappointed when we aren’t always full of that emotion!! I learned this the hard way but I learned ALOT from it! Gos redeemed me. I was the prodigal who got lost and returned back to God! THANK YOU JESUS! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️💕✝️🧎🏽‍♀️

When I'm out there on youtube I'm often asked what translation I use. I stop them in their tracks by saying "All of them!"

I use KJV only and I do use a Hebrew dictionary to look up the word that are in Hebrew

It's been a year, have you refound any hunger for the word yet? I've discovered The James Method of verse mapping. It's sparked a fire and I've been in my bible every day.

@@rebeccamartin3744. Hi! A year ago my eyesight was failing. But surgeries have corrected the problems. Though I haven’t gotten into reading yet, my church attendance has improved and I hear the Word there. I appreciate your comment! I’ll look for the James method. So glad you are into reading.

So he's not really SEEING enjoyment because it's stuff from the world, eternal reward.

Ecclesiastes is life in this world when cut off from the eternal God.
