    I love it, You are one of the greatest moms ever! I love the way you shaped him up, although I wouldn't attempt that part, not confident enough. My 14 year old son wants locks, and has very soft hair, so I decided to watch a video to do them myself. Thank you for posting.

  • @lilbredoitall7369

    @lilbredoitall7369

    4 жыл бұрын

    Absolutely. Start with the basic twist and every 2 to 3 weeks retwist them. Dont start fresh just retwist. Continue the process every 2 to 3 weeks and you will see them start to grow. Even if you dont retwist them, ( because I know a lot of ppl don't have time) if you put twists and just leave them in for a long time you will start to see them form into dreads.

    @@icetea7727 you're fine. I don't mind the questions. It depends on the type of hair you have. My son in this video has very soft somewhat curly hair and I honestly prefer to use gorilla snot. My other son however has really thick type hair and I rather use bees wax/edgewax which holds better in his head. If you want to see the type hair he have it's in this video. kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKOcwbesZ7TVoag.html So with that being said it depends on the type of hair you have. But really you can use either one they both hold well. Also not hard at all, very easy to do.

    It can last for about 1-2 months. That's only because his hair is very soft and curly and he sleeps bad. This is my other son's hair and his last for about a3-4 months because his hair is very Thick. But honestly I dont let it last that long because it'll start permanently dreading up. So I leave them in about 2 months. They still be looking good after 2 months but he dont want them permanently. So it depends on the type of hair. kzread.info/dash/bejne/gGmbzLSggaWbp8o.html

They may be a little dreaded up but just follow my other video to take them out. After you take them out wash and condition your hair and put them on for another 4 weeks. You should really see a change in growth. It's possible to leave them in for 8 weeks but it will be dreaded up but like I said just follow my how to take out twists video and it'll help you.

    Plz help me I have been trying my best for my son but I can not get my comb coils/ starter dreads to g Ed t close to the scalp I’ve done 50 so far and they look 10 years old just as soon as I’ve done them. Someone help me plz. I have two daughters and while I can braid natural hair only my oldest girl is 13 and wants box braids which I pay 200 for already every 2 1/2 months and my youngest daughter is nine and also love the extra length weave gives her mainly because while her hair is long she chews it for comfort so it’s safer for her her hair to have weave which I can’t put in do I end up paying anywhere fro 75- 150 every two weeks for her hair now my 14 year old son wants locks and I can’t afford to pay for what I consider optional hair but because he wants his hair I wanna do it myself cause I’m a divorced 29 year old mother of four kids. Your sons hair turned out beautiful but this doesn’t help me. 😢 can any one in the comments help or point me to a step by step video that will
