    Will there be a yearly subscription and online support like in discord so that we can communicate effectively and always stay up to date in the market? The course fee of $500++ is very affordable, but most importantly is having the market/stock update/discussion after that.

    If I will to guess, he is in construction therefore has lots of REITS n land development companies. I agree,no Sg banks is a surprise to me too. Good to sell the losers ,hope it’s not a substantial sums n reinvest the capital in banks. Keep the reits ,it will recover eventually.

    He probably entered the market recently. Since now i/r is going to cut. Entering into ir sensitives like reits is a better play. Banks are cyclical and are opposite to reits. Both are interest rate sensitive plays.

    I feel sympathy to this investor for the large losses and he must have worked very hard (construction industry) to accumulate his savings. I would recommend him to consider buying the 3 big SG bank stocks which has good dividend price appreciation over time. If he wish to invest in US, he may consider S&P 500 etf and Technology etf (rather than individual stocks) using dollar cost averaging approach if he doesn't have the finance background. Suggest don't divest all his current losing stocks at the same time. Good to monitor for some upside and divest over a period of time. Wish him all the best! Take care!

    I have been following much of your videos. This is one of those very informative ones. Would love to see more of such videos. I have a question on the switching process. For the bad stocks identified, should the person sell away the bad stock immediately disregarding the price OR wait for a certain trigger? From what I hear at 30:40 and 31:08, timing is all important for SG and HK stocks and even more so for dividend stocks. Does it then mean that the person should wait and time the entry instead of quickly switch out to the good stocks as identified in 26:42-28:09? Could you help to clarify the switching approach or guideline.

  • @TheFifthPersonChannel

    @TheFifthPersonChannel

    Ай бұрын

    Thanks for watching our videos! You can switch immediately to a higher quality stock if the price is right. If not, you also have the option to liquidate and park the money in risk-free SSBs -- which pay 3.3% right now -- while waiting for the right opportunity.

    The dude is from the construction industry, which explains the number of construction/developer companies in his portfolio. People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.

    YZJ Financial at the current price is giving ~6% dividend yield though (Its in the red now due to the price he entered) Switching to SG banks at this price/time, might mean more capital losses esp if the Fed decides to cut rates or the economy crashes if Fed hold the rates up too long other than that, a really good video! good job
