How to turn a cake into a Bunny / Easter Bunny Cake 🐰 🐣 🐇
Hi There,
this is a simple video showing you with any cake recipe (we did a carrot cake flavour , made 2 round ones) that once cooked and cooled you can then cut and shape it into a Bunny for easter. This is fun for the kids!
again, this can be done with ANY cake recipe, even a box cake recipe! it is more to show you quick how to turn it into a bunny and then have fun with frosting and decorating.
Frosting ingredients
2 bricks (8 oz/ 250 g each) light cream cheese, softened
1⁄4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup icing sugar
blend butter and cream cheese together (be sure both butter and cream cheese are room temperature/softened) and then add the vanilla and blend, and lastly gradually add the icing sugar for the added sweetness.
just be sure the cakes are fully cooled before frosting them and decorating them.
I used shaved coconut flakes and sprinkled it lightly, but you can pack on more to cover it fully- its as you wish!
then i used sliced strawberries and some blueberries for decoration as well as some marshmallows for the teeth and sliced carrots for the whiskers.
you can even add food colouring to the frosting and make it a colourful bunny! honestly just have fun decorating as you wish :)
