I've just completed the sale of a property located in Portland and I'm considering reallocating the resulting funds into the stock market. Despite prevailing sentiments regarding its readiness, I'm unsure about the timing of stock purchases. How long until we witness a full market recovery? Furthermore, I'm puzzled by the methods allowing others in the same market to achieve gains surpassing $200k within months.

Undeniably factual. Despite my absence of prior investing acumen, I ventured into investments pre-pandemic and managed to amass a profit of about $450k within that year. Essentially, I solely relied on professional counsel.

As an investment enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. I do have a significant amount of capital that is required to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make over $400k like some people are this season.

I believe the safest approach is to diversify investments especially under professional; guide. You can mitigate the effects of a market meltdown by diversifying their investments across different asset classes such as stocks, etfs etc It is important to seek the advice of an expert.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I find one source to recover my money, at least $9k profits weekly. Thanks so much Alex Redondo

Okay, flipping things are risky. I like to go to hardware stores when things are on clearance and resell them a little cheaper than the actual price but more than the clearance sale. You have to look for products that people would actually consider buying. Your best bets are in the power tools. You can make $30-$60 in profits on average per tool if the clearance is good enough. You simply take advantage of the clearance sale and advertise it as new because you don't open the box and mess with its contents. Honestly, it's not a horrible idea

Hi, sounds like a great idea, also if it’s on clearance and you buy it all the store will give you an extra discount as they want it gone so they can get the new item out. Fantastic! Great comment. MT 😎

I just did this with paddle boards. Normally $264 on clearance for $100. I bought all 5 they had and resold on FB marketplace for $175 each. As “insurance”, Walmart has a 3 month return policy even on clearance so if they didn’t sell I could still just return them. It took about 3 weeks but got them all sold! Total profit $300 and because I used my credit card to buy them got some extra cash back

Anything else requires 2 things, money tied up in costs (products, time making things, chasing customers, advertising, fuel, electric, etc. You choose 10 horse/ greyhound/ sporting events that end withing 12 hours. $10 to win on each event. Cross your fingers and hope😇

Out of 20 applications, i got two callbacks, one interview and like no job offer yet. I feel trapped bc i got hit with $2500 in unexpected expenses on top of regular living expenses in the last couple months. "find someone that works for you" - that is actually the hardest part. Any plan you can have that involves multiple people creates even more risks than you would do it on your own. And people generally don't want to work, they are lazy, or ask for higher salaries than they actually are worth

Problem is if everyone is taught this then most people will pursue it due to its insane appeal meaning the competition would be infinity greater and there would be a lack of people for 9 - 5 jobs causing a massive crash in the economy and could lead many countries and communities to collapse and completely break down leaving the world absolutely fucked

Think of them like digital art. You'd flip them the same way you'd flip art for a profit. The difference is that there may more than one of an nft sold. The more expensive the nft, the less likely there is to be others with the same art. You prolly won't be able to flip an nft though until it becomes unavailable to purchase though. As long as the original artist is selling their nft, there's not gonna be an easy way to make a profit.

My mum has been selling stuff from charity shops for 15 years. It was okay income for most of that but nowadays it's getting less and less worth the time, as more and more people are doing it, she's seen many people on KZread doing it full time too. It's definitely low risk, and potentially good, but if it's your only income, like hers, it may not be worth it.

Clothing from thrift shops, we call them opportunity shops here in Australia. The only downside is that to be finding the best items, you have to be going out a lot all over your city, the upside to that is that if you're good and know what you're looking at, you will have the top choice picks of everything above everyone.

I know someone who collects used items in good working condition. He cleans them up, takes detailed photos, and puts them up on eBay. The buyers pay the shipping cost. I was reading about a guy who visits big name stores, and buys up items on sale. He then takes them home and sells them on line with a 35% markup. Got to be creative to have success. For myself, I put some savings in to dividend paying ETFs. I put the dividends back in. Growth is slow, but over time they gain in value. Risk follows the prices of the companies owned by the ETF. I also like to invest in to index type ETFs. Over the years I am ahead. I would not buy anything to do with crypto. Too risky for my tolerance. Crypto is not backed by any banking system, or the GDP of any country as like normal type of currency.
