Good looking out homie
this may sound harsh but this guide has lots of room for improvement. if you wanna go around corners as fast as possible in forza you have to abuse the physics engine by minmaxing tuning settings to get more rotation out of the car. some of the settings i recommend may seem unrealistic or crazy, but are faster because this is a game, not even a full sim one or real life. first of all, youre using an x class car as an example, which is fully maxed out, so knowing what right upgrades to use in lower classes where you have a limit on how much pi you can use is not something youve covered. its very important and often overlooked there are optimal tire pressures for each compound. 24psi is a bit too low for slicks as they will overheat frequently. i use 29psi the stock gear ratios are not good enough for most cars in forza by default. this car would benefit a lot from a longer 1st gear you have too much camber (i run -0.5 on front and rear) and toe should be completely avoided except on drag tires or as a last resort your anti roll bars (arb) are too understeery. 1-65 will make this car turn much better your springs are too stiff and your rideheight too low, 450lb/in on front and rear and max rideheight will make this car much more stable your damping is also WAAAY toostiff. 10-10 4-4 will make it much more stable. you can increase rear rebound or rear bump for more responsiveness but not too much your aero is too understeery aswell. always max out your front aero, its free grip and rear should be around the same as front the brake balance slider is actually inversed, so increasing it towards front actually increases braking on rear your diff is also too understeery. 100-0 100-7 75 will make it much more responsive in lowspeed corners
New sub, its my first forza and my first time playing on a wheel. I been trying to tune my E63 Amg to grip for like 3 days now. This was the perfect tune. Thanks for sharing this because i was seriously getting frustrated
1. For gearing: default is way too steep for the amount of power an upgraded car puts out, always lengthen the overall ratio to the top right corner of the graph, you'll notice your acceleration improve as well (longer first gear grips better from a standing start). 2. High caster and low camber don't work that well for all cars, especially shorter base ones. Somewhere between 5.5 and 6.5 deg works well. 3. Before you adjust your roll bars and suspension check your car's weight distribution. If you have 60% of the weight on the rear it makes no sense to have the front stiffer. 4. Braking should usually be biased to the front, the car's weight shifts forward when you brake. What I find works great for most cars is 5% front bias and 95% strength. Good video but it just looks like a bunch of numbers that you found work well on some builds, not something I'd apply as a template for all cars.

I applied what I learned here and instantly saw better cornering and grip results. Thank you. You got me as a sub.
Thank you so much this has helped me a lot. I honestly was about to just stop trying to play this game cause I just couldn’t handle my cars I felt like I sucked really bad at this game.
Thanks for this video it's helped me a lot with learning a lot about grip tuning .. it's my go to video but I pretty much lurned it off by heart now 🙂👍
Great tutorial helped me a bunch thank you!
thanks for the tutorial my friend wish you a good start in the new week

Thanks for doing the video on Grip Tuning, it helped me get my Koenigsegg Agera RS to 282mph in Forza 4
great video well needed man
You are amazing I managed to make track hawk circuit beast thank you I will the durango next I love weird builds like these
I did this to a hoonicorn. What a difference. Thanks dude.
great video, my cars stability is insane now
Wow I actually learned something today

No worries buddy, I am glad I could help :)
I'm gonna try this out, though I want at least a little bit of oversteer, also I have my brake pressure usually around 140% because I feel it helps me brake better.
Thank you !!!!!!!!
Very helpful
You ever increase the front rim size for better cornering?
It is like my Ferrari 599XX EVO is on rails now ... thank you! ... now to tune the rest of my favs

Yeah high camber does that, try taking a few slow corners and you'll see the downside of that.
I keep sliding all over the place in fh5 in a race I hate it and this video was for me thanks
Would the tuning be the same for a rwd car? I have that barn find jag and I’d really prefer rwd on it
On the tyre one, how do you have PSI? Im having trouble because my car has High Bar not PSI. How?
Does this work for lower class cars like c and b class
It's not working for my BRZ, the car still understeer and feel so heavy like way heavier than my previous tune I need help
Gostei do jogo amigo
Great video mate! After a few FH5 Updates I may add a few more details, DIFFERENTIAL TUNING, you want to push the car through turns so you'll want to have slight rear bias differential, ~5% or so difference you'll have to play with the how the specific car reacts to turn in and lift. But slip angle is your friend. BUMP & REBOUND These settings are very important and not to be overlooked, this is what keeps the tire planted after hitting a small bump, going from road to grass, hitting various curbs, sidewalks, and all the debris we can hit in Forza. It's very important to have proper dampening to keep the car settled and not to stiff that it's bouncing under the stiff springs and sway bars!
I have wheel hop taking turns what should I do to fix that
Fyi, im dumb, but, i move some sliders, and my supra grip well (better). I think i could be better, but for now is better than before, thanks👍
The last few seconds of video looked like a que ball smacking the 2ball into the corner pocket 😂
How do I make my car turn quicker/sharper? Is my car just a little to heavy to fast corners or something? What setting would I have to adjust to help with this?

yeah some cars aren’t fast around curves or can’t handle them at top speeds. what car u talkin bout ?

You meed more oversteer if your car is understeering.
Omg thank u all I have been seeing fucking drag racing cars
Will this work with a BMW M3 GTR?
Tuning is a Hard thing to get accustomed too in this game, I agree with this guys tuning methods for Track only cars, but I have a few changes I make to S2s when I race online or in Tournaments and it feels like it hurts me in Corners badly but my Straight line and off-road is superior, which is annoying as Hell in Online cuz u basically know that at some point you’ll run into a track with ur weaknesses on it and others seem like there un bothered by any track, some ppl on the Rivals leaderboards I don’t understand, like how do u take a 90 degree turn at 150mph and then say it’s Legit, no matter how many thousands of times I’ve tuned Track cars I’ve never been able to take corners at that speed, even with copying High tier tunes!! Shits disconcerting and makes me wonder what’s Legit!!!!
My McLaren P1 tops out at 260 something and I just tuned it how I thought it should be without a tutorial I think too much tuning is making you slow top speed only 195 in a McLaren Senna? And my p1 hits corners like crazy if you're thinking I sacrificed cornering for speed I haven't

This was just a tutorial to show you how to tune buddy, not a tune for this car :)
As someone who has only just gotten forza, the tuning system is a really difficult subject for me, i dont know anything about how to tune a car and it pretty much means i can only enjoy races against ai, no matter what i do whenever i do online races I see the other drivers only getting further away even if I take every apex and gear change perfectly, how do i counter this without having to learn every single thing about the tuning system in this game

just get better idk
Why is it capped speed?
This guide is about as useful as a man on fire, and you pouring water next to him. It honestly just made my car unstable and slower.
mate, you have a huge understeer with that tune.. thank you for the effort though

This isn't a tune, it's just a general walkthrough of grip tuning
Bro this tune on a clk gtr goes stupid
One question for the people. How do I prevent my car from spinning out? 😔
hahaha, pagani, i sold this car more than 100~~
In a R33 not works.

Every car is different buddy, you will have to fine tune for your car
You have this shit all backwards lol.
Not true, positive camber doesn't increase tyre contact in straight lines, it tilts the wheels the other way so you get less contact also. The fact that of the little that you do explain, half you get wrong, makes this video pretty pointless. People will copy what you do and have no idea why or even remember your wrong information.

a LOT of this is ass backwards, I think what's helping him the most is his stiff ass suspension, the AWD and his flat tires.. clearly that's still a broken thing in FH5... negative camber helps keep your tires flat in high speed turns, you would want to have your central diff more to the rear about 70 - 80, you'd want your rear Diff to be about 80, front to be about 15, you'd want your non throttle diff to be about 10 -20 , you'd want your bump as soft as you can go without bouncing everywhere , you'd want your rear roll bars to be stiffer but front to be neutral based on weight, you'd want your rear suspension to be stiffer and your front to be neutral or even a little softer.. your tires you shouldn't fuck with but that's clearly a broken mechanic... ride hight two above the lowest point. and you adjust your settings in front if you under steer and rear if you over steer to much you WANT to over steer somewhat so you can get in and out of corners faster... your tires should be on fire and your car should not be turning what so ever... but the game mechanics are busted and the flat tire glitch still works.
this should not work... it does clearly, but it shouldn't... why it works : -flat tires give you grip but your tires should be destroyed.. -stupidly stiff everything + aggressive Downforce.. this again shouldn't work, you you should have shit handling and terrible top speed... -AWD... in F5 this is essentially easy mode. Normally you'd WANT your diff to be More rear end focus to give you oversteer so you can get out of your corners faster but again unaffected because you slammed the car to the ground, have so much downforce, suspension is stiff as hell, and you have constant grip with flat tires.. all the negative effects of your build are covered up because the game doesn't take them into consideration... your tires should burn up, your car shouldn't turn well because your suspension and differential is a mess, traction control is allowing your diff settings to work when they shouldn't.. you don't want all wheels moving at the same time all the time.. you definitely don't want your front end to be stiffer than your rear that would cause major understeer... your settings are just a game breaking loop hole. no offence. it just shouldn't work.
Coulda made this video a lot shorter "How to tune for grip, leave most of the settings stock, and make the car AWD". Cause that's about all ya did

Pretty sure he already had it tuned before the video and was just showing what he had done to it previously. My cars never look like this before tuning.
