Thank you so much for your primary parts of explanation but what about secondary ( Inverting parts or IGBT parts ) of VFD. I am confused all ways please help me how to test it. Thank you.

why come err 7 in vlt 2800 vfd 11 kw, input vot ok and control card and parameters ok.

Hi Sir I'm in process of troubleshooting of VFD... Trouble shows 1. Input 380 ok but there is no voltage reading DC output to bridge type/ rectifier diode which is should be give supply voltage to Capacitor. Input of rectifier diode (380v) rectifier diode found two wire going to Magnetic contactor... My question is there a related from contactor wiring that can cause Zero VDC or no reading at all thanks hope you understand what I mea.. Note: no output voltage ACV that supply to motor... And there is LED Alarm display indicator from display panel. Thanks

You really need an oscilloscope, check the input and outputs of the rectifiers, dc bus, and inverter SCRs and IGBTs. It is important to have the specs of normal values. And not blowing up your oscilloscope it’s important too.

Are you in the US? I'm working in manufacturing maintenance and our company spends hundreds of thousands of dollars for drive guys to come in and troubleshoot because nobody knows how to do it in house. My question for you would be are you hiring? I would almost love to work for a company that can refurbish/install/validate drives. Or what courses would you recommend me taking to become a drive expert?

Hi! In my vacon nxs have a strange problem… When push start by external command on display i see RUN…but the motor not start. After 1/3 hours it start… No fault on display, only custom error (i think): Leakage Low pressure The motor is a turbine. Have you idea about this problem ?

Hi Sir, i checked in coming power L1 L2,L3 450 V but power out to load reactor is 48 V. And my motor did not turn on. Could it be the defective vfd or need to reprogramed? Whats your opinion on this one? Thanks in advanges
