My Beats Solo Pro headphones won’t charge. The light blinks red then white. I’ve tried multiple cords multiple power outlets and the light indicator just keep flashing even when closed and plugged in.

Fact

I had trouble but I PROMISE THIS works. 1. Register beats on the website on a separate computer. 2. Serial number is in left ear cup when sliding it down 3. Once registered download beats app on phone. 4. Then follow instructions. 5. THEN reset by holding down and the power button on headphones once opened.. ur phone should see it and u good 🤷🏾‍♂️💯

Hi my beats suddenly stopped turning on and i have tried updating it using the beats updater or resetting. It is also fully charged. It works completely fine when wired. It just suddenly stopped working today when i un-paired it briefly.

That might be manufacture defect if the issue is still occurring after resetting and updating them. Try reaching out to Apple to see if they can replace them for you.

Beats Solo Pro are updated automatically thru iOS now, the same as all the AirPods. No need to use the separate Beats updater. BTW, mine was faulty, after a few months I couldn't pair it, and sometimes wouldn't turn on. They couldn't fix it, sent me a replacement. All good now.

Hi my beats has been acting very weird where I can't reset it no longer. My Beats Solo Pro, when I turn them on by opening the headphones for use, the white light would flicker on and shut off after a second. It would do this every second so I have no chance to reset it using the volume down + main buttons. Yesterday I decided to drain the battery and see if it was due to a charging problem. I charge it for a little while, try to turn it back on again, and it goes back to turning on and instantly turning off just like before. What can I do?

Hi Moo, I recommend trying to update it via Beats Updater because this sounds like some kind a glitch to me. If that doesn’t work, try leaving it overnight in the charger then try resetting it again. Try resetting it while it’s plugged and unplugged to the charger. If none of this works, I recommend reaching out to Apple support.

Ive had a problem with my headphones where there would be a crackly popping sound with no specific pattern from the left side of the device. I had figured out these 2 things: When trying to reset my headphones, the crackling sound would immediately commence after turning on. And I tried seeing if it was the sound canceling feature that created the noise, so I turned off the soundproofing by pressing the transparancy button and I noticed that the left side with the problem wouldnt give me the transparent sound that I hear on the right side, which didnt fix the problem and gave me a new one at the same time. Do you know what I should do? I could take it apart and look for any damaged cables... or if there is this SUPER-SECRET factory reset that is more powerful than the normal factory reset, then could you make a video about that?😂 Anyway, in all seriousness, if it is a damaged cable do you think I could still find a market for them since the headphones were discontinued a couple years ago? Plus, if theres no hope I could just deal with the noise since I only hear the crackling during quiet songs and in the silence between songs.

Hi, I have beats, and its been working find for about half a year, until today, where when I switched it on, it flashes red on the far left light, then all the lights will flash white. This repeats over 5 times then it switches off. I am able to connect via Bluetooth in that time but once its finished its cycle it disconnects from Bluetooth, therefore I can't access the updater app to check if it needs to update. I have tried a reset option but nothing changes. Any ideas?

Hi, I would try connecting them via charging cable to your computer to update them that way.

Everything works on my beats solo pro, except when I try to use them for a phone call, I can hear the other person talking but they cannot hear me, any suggestions on how to fix this? I really need this fixed as soon as possible. I even have the beats app, but don't even see a place there to update the software and I have searched the beats website and Apple to try to find an answer, but I couldn't find anything. I'm truly at a loss.

No problem, make sure your headphones are fully charged. This might be happening due to lack of battery life.

Can someone please help so mine was working then I closed it and tried to listen to music again but it wasn’t connecting and the white light doesn’t show I tried resetting it but it still shows no light does anyone knows what this means ? I had the strangest experience. My headphones weren’t dead and in very great working condition. I’ve had them for about 6 months and they just wouldn’t turn on. About 20 minutes struggling to get them on, they just came on out of nowhere. Do you have any suggestions on why this happened?

I have the same experience

Mine wouldn’t turn on after a full charge and i only used them for no longer than 30 minutes a day or two before, they were brand new and came dead so i had to start off full charging. Tried the reset trick and led lights don’t even blink to show if its doing anything holding the buttons for 30 seconds.

Just saw the comment about making sure they were charged enough, so I plugged them in and it indicated full charge in less than a minute and paired when they got power. When I took them off the charger and turned them on again and they paired, my phone indicated it was at 18% battery capacity.

So mine just randomly stopped working like when you open them the white led light is on but it doesn’t connect to the phone and when I plug the charger in it stays white not read and when I hold the button down to reset or pair it doesn’t blink it just stays white

Mine has a static noise on the right side , i dont know what it could be

Crappy Bluetooth module need reflowing in these in my experience . Symptoms are headphone turns on with led but won’t connect, strip it all apart reflow/ball that Ic and they work.

What if my headphones are flashing red and white at the same time? Is that a bug in my headphones?

This has been 2 times in a row where my beats have been low battery and won't turn back on. At first I thought it was just my first one but then it occurred again and I just got fed up. The light won't turn on and I can't reset it, I'm not about to spend 250$ more for the same headphones that will probably do the same 😭.

Beats Solo 3 Brand New. Never paired: Received as a gift for Christmas. Removed from box (December 25th) and fully charged successfully. Put back in box. Three days ago took them out of box to try and use them for the first time. Decided to ensure they had a full charge. Plugged them in to charge and all five LEDs came on as did the power button LED (all white). All six lights flashed on and off on and off. I did not try to pair them. I did connect them to a different charger and cable. No change. I followed the Beats Solo 3 reset procedure three times and no change. When powered on, all five LEDs (Fuel Guage) flash in sync with the power button light. All lights are white. I have not tried to pair them. I have not connected them to register or update. They are brand new and never have been used. The two little protective tabs are still on each side. Do I remove them? What do I do? Apple is no help.

Hi Ben, I recommend reaching out to Apple again or even going to your local Apple store for support. It’s very odd that Apple wasn’t helpful if the headphones are still within the 1 year warranty period.

So strange, have had my solo pros for almost 2 years, over the past week the battery has been draining when turned off. Have tried resetting, updating my iOS etc. Nothing works. $180 dollars to fix as not under warranty any more. No point at all. Won’t be buying beats again.

What’d you end up doing?

I have problem with left one... i don't know how to call it but I hear "scratching" noise it's like electronic/electric sound very similar when You connect cable incorrectly. Probably it's hardware problem because You cannot hear it when is turn off but when is on even when You restart You can hear it.... so shame because I didn't use them alot and it's not even 1 year old....

I have 2 pair, 1 only works on the 1 side, and the newer pair won't shut off. The serial number has kind of worn off unfortunately..🤷‍♂️

My Beats Solo pros have they white light on at all times as soon as I open them the light stays white and I try clicking the button to put them into pairing mode and nothing happens

I hate to use KZread comments as support forums, but I really need help, so give it a chance. My Solo Pro stopped working a few weeks ago. It does not react to re-pair or reset button combinations, the white LED keeps lighting. Sleep and charging works. The headset cannot be seen in Bluetooth Prefs. (But I can see its Bluetooth advertisement packet in NRF connect app, but it does not advertise any services.) I've also tried to discharge it completely, then charge it, but nothing changes. Also contacted Apple support, and since it is 2.5 years old, out of warranty, so the only thing they offered me is a paid replacement for 103.000 HUF, which is way higher price than the price of a new unit. I am desperate. Do you have any tips? (Obviously I've tried everything from the video.)

Hi Lloyd, the same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago. When the headphones are exposed to cold weather/ low temperatures, they stop working. Mine began working once I went back in the house and it got warmer.

I am having to do the hard reset (press the noise cancelling buttom and the volume down bottom) like three times and I know that any moment my beats Solo Pro will shut down again and will not turn on till I do all the process again. I have followed the tips in this video but my solos keep disconnecting and then reconnecting and the cycle continues, the only way to make it stop is when I forget the device or reset them. But if I turn them off and turn them on later they do the whole thing again. So do you have any tips on how to fix it?

Hello! I need help with my beats pro because for some reason they aren't responding and I'm really upset about it. They won't respond to me holding the mode button and the down button at the same time for a long period of time and my phone wouldn't pick up the headphones.The thing is though is that they aren't off and when I either flip them off or on they won't connect to my phone nor cooperate with the reset. Hey, did you try updating them via Beats Updater? If yes, try resetting them while they’re plugged into a power outlet (fully charge them). Finally, when resetting them try holding down the buttons longer (40 seconds even 1 minute). Let me know if this helps.

They gone mobile you only can get to beats update via mobile Which makes it harder to update
