Thats why bose blows them. Beats sound great, but i have had a couple pair now, and this is way too common for some expensive paper weights. Tell me why my 80 dollar jbl400 wireless headphones sound better, still going and cheaper is out performing a product like this?

Doing all of this for a broken wire in which I payed 300 dollars for.

Same with mine, you will probably need to buy a new one, the speaker is out of charge. Unless you can find a new speaker for your beats it won't work. The wire isn't broken. And the wire with connects to your headphones to your device I changed it and it still is the same so it's not the wire. So I would recommend getting new headphones or try to find a speaker to buy, but it might be a bit of work to fix it. You could give it to Apple to fix it up a bit

I have the same problem and what I do is kind of put my fingers inbentween the outer part of it and the part where you put ur ear up to (its obvious when you see it) and just run my fingers around it and then boom it works until it just cuts out, which then I just do it again. its risk-free as long as you dont pull off the ear part.

Thanks for this! The side without the aux input wouldn't work. Hasn't done for about 5 years now so my beats solo's just sat in their case in the attic. Opened them up with your video, but all wires were fine, all connections were sound.....strange. That said, the win is yours on this one!! Thanks again!

Awesome, congrats fixing your headphones.

I know this is an old video - but I still use my Beats Studio every week and after many years they now have one side broken. The sound is still superior compared 99% of modern headphones. So thanks - your video helped me.

Thanks this was very helpful. Headphones working again in my case. Wire was not broken, but badly crimped in one spot. After straightening it out and re-assembling the headphones they are back in action. I don't think I will be buying beats again though. Will try my luck with another brand that isn't so prone to issues. Thanks again Tampatec.

ty extreamly grateful for this video , it was my right speaker wire too but i took an old usb charging cable and i added 4 extra inches of wire to mine , but tyvm works great , they were sitting around for 6 months , i didnt know how to remove the speaker:)

With the rubber tabs try some baby oil or a little soapy water just a drip on each tab should come right out or go back in! Very good video!

my left speaker wasn't working, so i tried this both sides, i couldn't find a broken wire though... probably just a problem with the speaker. also, anyone thinking about trying this but not wanting to mess up the headphones, i know hardly anything about dismantling things and i didn't make anything any worse. it's worth a try.

hi can make a video on solo 3? i have the exact same problem but im having difficulties taking it apart as its not the same as the solo 2.

I have soul X-tra headphone and they suddenly stopped working earlier this week, in that there is completely no sound output from the left headphone (no static either). The sound is coming through fine on the right and they are connecting. I have tried taking them apart and found the wiring to be intact and also connected to another device and found it has the same problems. If you give me some assistance and direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

My rose gold solo 3 left side works on wirelessbut when you attach the wire to it, they work both sides so it something with the wire in the head part. they were a christmas gift from my mom from 2016 which is going on 3 years in december. Any suggestions?????

hi sir, my solo3 volume having an issue it lower the volume by itself. do you have an idea what seems to be the prob and also i cant turn it off. thank very much.

I have a pair of solo 3 and the volume on the right side is lower than the left side, any ideas or hint.

My Solo3 have one side speaker not working, just outside the 12 month apple warranty too. Mine did not have that center screw at 1:58. Also dissembled and saw no visible wire issues.

Would this Work For The Bluetooth 1s because I have just like these I just don't use a cord

The one thing that I always do is put a warranty or protection plan on it and I always renew it because my headphones have been put in the shop twice now. I’ve had two replacement because the speaker wasn’t replaceable. Remind you brand new and the do the same thing as the old headphones right speaker was broken so it’s a lot easier to pay and extra 25 dollars for something that lasts five years

The right side of my Beats solo 2 quit working so I watched this video and followed step by step what you said. Turns out my wire had broken so my Dad and I soldered the wire back together but the right side still isn't working. I honestly feel like Beats are a waste of money cause I paid $250 for mine and then this happens. I will never buy another pair of Beats.

so for step 10 we separate the red from the copper on the other thing and twist the copper with the other copper and red with the other red and keep them seperate. then Sauder the red with red and copper with copper ?

The left side just stopped working for me on Bluetooth, but it works fine when I plug in the aux. Do you think this would still work or is this a different issue?
