The singing and the NASA outtake were funny. Thanks for keeping it light _and_ informative. 😊
Please always include the humor 🤣🤣 I laughed so hard.
Love a great coincidence haha Luke has some really good comic relief in his videos haha
May not be the cheapest but I am a huge supporter of using cattle panel and T post. Atleast when you set it up you never have to buy more netting and it can still be moved around (just not easily)

I used old cattle panels and gates from when we had livestock. Was lucky not to have to buy them. They are perfect!

@FlyingMonkeysCR that is why I mentioned not easily movable. But if you can rotate just your Vining crops ie cucumber snap peas tomatoes pole beans.... shouldn't Have to worry too much. But yes I agree

If any of you are gardening in raised beds, crop rotation isn’t required as long as you didn’t have disease. Just amend the soil and keep planting those crops.
Hey man I just wanted to say thank you for keeping your seed prices cheaper than other brands. I can get 2 packs of seed from you for the same price of 1 pack from other companies. Me and my friends have no reason to ever shop from other companies anymore since you released your own products :) Oh and your seeds are great quality.
Good info. Can you show us how to properly prune cucumbers and zucchini
Thanks for singing that song. Now its going to be stuck in my head for days. Just like when I watched "Anyone But You". 🤬😂
You teach in such a fun and precise way that it is easy to learn from you and retain the information.👍🏻THANK YOU😊❤
Gardening tips and humor! A double threats guy!!
Thank you, Luke. 😊
Love this! I have been doing trellising for years now. We have cattle fence panel between garden boxes… the fence is outlasting the box LOL… and already have some cukes forming great tip!

Your building is looking gorgeous, Luke! Nice work adding the foliage to the front planters. :)
Good video-thanks! My t posts aren’t always as tall as I need so we make them taller by attaching a piece of wood to the top. We use spindles from a deck we took down but you could buy wooden stakes or use whatever you have available. You just screw a hook or eye to the top to attach the trellis to. Happy gardening!
Cattle panels work nice
Thank you!!

I use cattle panels, but some time there not tall enough. I start them about 8 to 10 inches off the ground. Enjoy your show. Jim80
Awesome! I used a similar technique on an old firewood platform and used the posts as supports. It’s so simple and cheap to get going. I’m a beginner, but my 3 cukes are shooting for the stars at 3 feet tall right now ❤ The tendrils look so cool 😎
Thank you for posting Luke out in the garden right now actually adding water to my compost pile. I got too dry. I planted pickling cucumbers the other day under the trellis where the chipmunks I’m assuming got all my PC because nothing ever grew so will be using the trellis for the pickling cucumbers.
Very nice 👌🏽
Best to use cattle panel,s or some other product that is either permanent or biodegradable. A neighbour made a great trellis from pieces of bamboo tied together in a trellis pattern. Any kind of stick will do. I respect all your wonderful gardening advice Luke, but because of plastic damage all over the planet I feel we gardeners need to use alternatives that don't cause damage. It goes hand in hand with being an organic gardener.

I use bamboo poles tied together with jute string like teepees with a pole across the top for rows of tomatoes. It gets a little crazy when they get to the top of the trellis, but it’s worked for several years for me. I’m still trying to find wire fencing or something for a sturdy trellis, but I’ve got a thinner one that supports beans and cucumbers pretty well.
Oh🤦♀️ Cottonwood seeds! Bane of my existence! Ours were coming out last month, and it always looks like snow on our yard. I went with cattle panel because I wanted the trellises to last. But if we couldn't have afforded them, this idea is great, since it will last a while. I really like your sense of humor!😂

25-29 depending on time of the year!
My plants got demolished last year so I’m growing parthenocarpic types under cover this year. We have an old patio umbrella without the fabric and I’m covering it in mesh and a mosquito net meant for umbrellas (it has zippers to get in and out). I’m going to trellis the plants from their spot in the ground up to the frame of the open umbrella with extra thin stainless steel cable I have on hand. Really hoping this works.
Thank you so much. I haven't used the c clips before.

You may not want to use them. After a season they become very brittle and fall apart.

We like to pick the cukes early so i don't mind them growing on the ground. I have a low fence to get them up a little but i use the trellises for stuff i want to hang longer.

Thank you for answering my question
What was the brand of trellis netting?
Where do I get the c-clips? Netting is at Ace Hardware
6:40 😂😂😂
I planted two different varieties of cucumber on one trellis which makes it difficult to hand pollinate (we have very little bees). Next year, I will grow only one variety per trellis.
Cottonpocolipse is what I call cottonwood season. I’m also allergic to cottonwoods so yeah.
Does the nylon netting have a specific name? And where did you get the netting and C clips? Thank you.

Instead of cutting the nylon trellis, why not double it over around the two stakes? Then you could guide the vines between the trellis lines and maybe not need or maybe just use few clips?

Aww man 💔, you have to at least sing half of the song 🎤 I made my trellis taller than my netting, so I just tied string staked down to the plants or clipped onto the plants, so they can grab on🙌🏻
Cottonwood hair! Yup, it’s that time of the year……🙄
