@Learnalogy yeah i do I’ve been using panoxyl 10% face wash and it’s been clearing the closed comedones and some acne that I had and I don’t get any break outs anymore also if your going to try panoxyl make sure you moisturize very good because it can be very drying at first until your skin gets use to it

  • @Mia_798

@Learnalogy i used tretenoin as well but it broke me out so bad so I stopped using it. I recommend using the panoxyl 10% face wash and then using cerave moisturizing lotion or cream and then for the dark spots wait until after all of your comedones are gone to treat those

  • @Mia_798

@Learnalogy i had comedones mostly on my forehead and jaw line. And the routine was panoxyl 10% face wash day and night and then cerave moisturizing cream day and night and that’s basically it. Try not to put to much stuff on your face because that can break you out

I’m trying to go the natural route and take supplements. I’ve been looking into Zinc, Vitamin A, and Pantothenic acid. Just got my bottle of Pantothenic acid and will start my journey on it today! Dr Dray thank you so much for your great content 🙌🏻! I've just bought La Roche Posay SPF 50 - anti-imperfections (with salicylic acid). Do you recommend not using another leave-on product containing salicylic acid at nightime? Also, is it safe to use it all over my face? I'm concerned with my undereyes area. From what I understood from your previous videos, it also needs protection. Thank you 😊

In my younger years I suffered from horrible cystic acne and spent those years being treated by a dermatologist. As I aged, things got better and over the last 30-40 years I’ve had no issues with any sort of acne aside from an occasional pimple. Now I’m 70 years old and experiencing whiteheads, a lot of them. I have been under tremendous stress. Does stress cause this? What can I do to stop these from forming? Help!

Of late I have been using Sunday Riley Good Genes and I find that it suits my skin ---I have read differing opinons on whether I can use lactic acid and tazorac together on the same night ---would you mind clearing this up for me please - can I use both products together on a daily basis or should I be alternating. I do use the PC azelaic acid in the morning. Thank you!

Just bought the Paulas Choice azelaic acid. I've been struggling with my skin because it tends to feel dry, tight, and irritated so I use all really gentle moisturizing products.. But then I break out on my T zone and get these closed comedones on my forehead. I have used the ordinary azelaic acid, but really don't like the weird powdery texture.. It makes my skin feel tight and dry afterwards. I have seen it help my skin a bit, but I have much more faith in Paua's choice. Plus, right now you can get it in the travel size for $10. I got it for $8 through a sale.

Hi Dr. Dray! I tried differin on one half of my face on my comedonal acne as a test and after 5 months I was still purging on the treated side with no end in sight and severe scarring so I stopped. I’m wondering if I would have the same reaction to other topical meds in the retinoid family or if something like retin A may have a different effect. I don’t want to put myself through more months of scarring for nothing. I use a SA wash and BP gel which keeps my comedonal acne from turning into inflammatory cystic acne but nothing seems to budge the comedones.
