Tbh i only know 3 traps so this helps out a ton. not only that but this trap has a higher sucess rate than my other ones. Thanks a ton for making this vid. My IGN is StealthyDuck48. Btw there is a much faster and easier way to make a funnel in a piston pull trap! You just place the pressure plate, then place an obeserver facing the pressure plate with a block behind the observer with redstone dust on that block, then you place the piston above the observer. this is a much faster way to make a funnel once you get used to it and saves a bunch of time.

This actually helped so much i like never get trapped now and I was never good at redstone lol - gladrin

Any tips on trapping? The only trap thats ever worked for me was some dumb spleef trap, but every time i try a piston pull trap i can never build it in time and i always end up giving up on it.

It's not a race of is the trap built before pvp or not (thats what I assume the situation is). So you can still build your trap till the end. I dont recommend giving up :) Although, if you want to build the trap faster, what I would suggest is that make the mining part last as little. Ignore ALL the ores except iron and copper. Then if you find some mediocre spot, its okay to look 1 minute for another, but if you dont find a better spot, go with the mediocre one :) Never give up, experience only makes you better ^^
