Very good idea, I planned to close my swimming pool next year but after watching your video, I changed my mind that I should seriously consider converting my swimming pool to a fish pond with water plants. I wonder if you can give me an idea how to find the right contractor. I live in Northern California

I’m not sure where these two pools are (somewhere in Australia obviously) but I live in Queensland and my research says that I do NOT have to keep the pool fence I’ve converted it into a pond. According to QLD legislators, once there’s plants in it, kids can’t drown 🤣🤣

We've been looking at lots of houses and so many I have said no to, specifically because it had a pool - I could have thought outside the square but didn't..... Hindsight is a wonderful (but frustrating) thing!

I like the idea but can you go back to making it a swimming pool later?
I didn’t even empty the chlorine pool water, I just left a small pump running, put in some fish 🐠 and water plants, then 6 months later I have a pond.
