You do need to check they are rested, well fed and watered with adequate shelter before you expect them to co-operate

When I have my donkey on a lead he typically will start acting crazy, kicking up his feet, pulling ect. he's not mad and he willing goes on lead without having to be caught and I believe it's just because he's excited knowing he's going to get some pasture time but what do you suggest to stop this behavior?

Hi Alicia, Thank you for getting in touch. There is a lot of varying factors which could cause this type of behaviour, to possibly include the donkeys environment. To be able to provide the correct advice for you and your donkey, we ask if you could email our Behaviour Team with as much detail as possible directly at equine.behaviour@thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk Here, our Behaviour Team will be able to assist you further with any queries you may have. We thank you for your continued support.

I am 15 minutes into an hour and three quarters presentation and have learned nothing except this guy loves the sound of his own voice. Thankfully I am not sitting in a classroom and can leave... You can get this in 3 or 4 minutes by watching Warwick Schiller or Monte Roberts work with horses (which are allegedly not as smart as Donkeys)
