    I think this video is 2 years old at this point but I just found it and honestly, this is one of the best explanations of "simple" edits I have found anywhere! Thank you for this! I love how you went into detail about why you do what you do instead of just saying "I like to do this" and then do it. Also, that trick about changing the grid when cropping, amazing! I have been using Lightroom for YEARS and never knew you could do that!

Have you ever shot a wrestling tournament with bright orange mats, orange uniforms and crappy crazy light? I am bringing my grey card for custom wb but I still have trouble with the color cast on their skin. Thanks again! Your tutorials on the focus and customization buttons are the best. Christy

    What telephoto lens do you normally use when shooting football?

  • @BrettCarlsen

    @BrettCarlsen

    3 жыл бұрын

    It changes. This year due to covid I’m exclusively using my 600mm f4 IS III with a combination of teleconverters as needed. Normally I use 600 on one body and 300 on the other. Of course I always have a wider setup around my neck too. Many people use a 400 2.8 or 200-400 f4 (with the TC built in). A bit subjective but you really need at least a 400 for good football pictures.
