I have 2 house bunnies. My two cents are: Bunny proof all baseboards and cables. Put some rugs or carpets they can run on. There is no need to lock them in a cage or a play pan. Bunnies hate being locked!!! Just observe their habits and pad/tape/cover their favorite chew spots. Give them things to chew on. My buns love paper boxes. I build them box mansions that they can mess with if they want to. Get an air filter and clean it regularly. Get a Roomba. Give them hiding spots, bunnies love hiding under the sofa:) Groom them once or twice a month, brush matted hair balls gently off, trim nails. Wash your bunny with water very, very rarely. Brushing and cleaning their hair with cornstarch is a good alternative to water. Get a Murphy bed for small spaces or elevate your bed so your buns can use the square footage underneath.

I suggest watching Lennon's the bunny channel. Especially ones with rabbit diet. I also really encourge you to get your bunny more mats, carpets that he can run on, rabitts slide on a hard wood floor. It's like a constantly walking on ice for them. Your bunny is so cute and have lovely personality! I have my rabbit for six years now :)

I recommend watching either Lennon the bunny or 101 rabbits on KZread. They will give you great tips and tricks on how to have him free roam 100% of time. I followed both of them and I now have a free roaming rabbit 100% time. I also live in a small unit like yourself , it is possible to have them free roam 100% of time with some tips and tricks ❤️ your boy is soo cute !!!

I think the food had corn which is bad for rabbits . Not sure I live in Europe too and they sell this mixed bunny food that is very bad for bunnies. You can buy bunny food from Fressnapf they deliver online and it’s all love Europe. . Best of luck for you and you little roommate

Schattig! Ik woon zelf ook in een ini mini appartementje, met een pluizebeestje: een fret genaamd Alexander. Vergeet alle vooroordelen over fretten. Mijn fret woont los in huis zoals een kat, gaat netjes op de kattenbak en houdt van knuffelen op schoot en kusjes. Hij heeft een villahuishok, waar hij eet en drinkt en in slaapt als er veel visite is (bang dat iemand erop gaat staan of zitten). Haha herkenbaar om naar de supermarkt te gaan voor t beestje en ehhh ohja ook wat voor mezelf. Is een konijn eigenlijk sociaal of ontwijkt hij je liever? Hij ziet er heel schattig uit

Super leuk om te horen! :) grappig dat Alexander ook gewoon rond kan lopen. Felipe is best schuw dus ook al liep hij altijd los, hij hield er niet van om opgepakt te worden en aaien mag alleen als hij zin heeft. Wel sprong die uit zichzelf op je bed of de bank omdat hij lekker nieuwsgierig is. Inmiddels heb ik moeten verhuizen vanwege de crisis en woont hij nu fulltime buiten, dus dat is helaas wel een groot verschil maar niet anders..

hello, very nice video. I‘m sure you love your bunny and want the best for him. But please keep in mind that rabbits have to live in groups! You can look that up on the internet. It‘s very unhealthy for them to live alone. They never live alone in nature... I would suggest to buy another one :-)

it can be okay if she spends A LOT of time with the bun. I’ve had mine for 4 years on his own (I got him randomly at a rescue) and he free roams in my bedroom, i spend A LOT of time in my room playing with him & I even take him out! He is very healthy & happy! I do agree with you that it’s usually way better to get at least two tho ❤️

I know you don't have a lot of room to work with but please try to do better for your baby. Phillip should have at least one, if not two, hiding houses and if you made or bought a multi level wooden structure for him to climb, hop and hid in, it would do him a world of good.

Thanks for your comment. His hiding houses are everywhere he can rest underneath :) so under or behind the sofa, the cabinets and so on. And he jumped on the sofa if he wanted to. Also we worked towards a free roaming situation that worked after he was neutered (luckily!) unfortunately due to covid I had to move back to my parents and now he lives outside as I could not take him inside. Nevertheless I will always try to improve his situation where possible:)

@@EllisGirlsFashion I don't know where you live but there is a major, extremely contagious and extremely deadly bunny disease spreading through Europe and just got the the states. There is a vaccine available. PLEASE GET THE VACCINE of you baby is outside?

I don't want to be critical but there are several things you could do differently that would be healthier for him. First is that food you're buying for him. That is not healthy. Please research proper rabbit diet from legitimate sources. The size of the pen you're keeping him in also way too small. It should be big enough for him to be able to jump at least 3 times across. And that bathroom floor is going to eventually give your rabbit sore feet. Please put down some kind of area rug or covering in there. Same for the rest of your space.

I'm afraid you need to research a bit more about rabbit diet. That's not the adequate diet. Also, there are ways to make your bunny free roam your house. He will be happier. I have 2 free roaming rabbits and with the correct bunny proofing you shouldn't have issues. There is a lot of information online. Always read/watch more than one source. we have all made mistakes at the beginning of our rabbit owners journeys. There is always time for improvement :-). good luck!!
