That rocking the car in 3rd gear is a great tip. I have been using the fan it's a 2 blade metal. I am going inspect it. Thanks

OMG! I never noticed that you have the dreaded 4 blade fan! ( so do I)

Coil should not be hot with the key off

Withe timing lever all the way up the points should be opening as you lock down the cam. It seems to me your way shuts down the engine at full up lever position..... am I wrong ?
