Exactly what I was looking for, I wasn't thinking and ordered a new strap, gonna return it since I just cut off the bad webbing and used this not she's good as new

Thanks very much. My strap is looking a bit UV faded but only at the end where it's exposed to sunlight. This is just what I was looking for.

Although Amazon sells the strap and hook for $10 new, this will be valuable if I wait too long to replace my strap and end up with a boat in the water at the ramp with a failed strap Thanks for posting!
