How to tie the Jack Daniel's | Euro Nymph by Old Dominion Trout Bum
The Jack Daniel's fly is my top confidence fly for 2024. This fly has helped me catch some very large trout this year, as you can see in the video. That brown trout was incredibly picky. I tried several other patterns over that fish's head, but it finally ate the Jack Daniel's.
I came across this fly from KZreadr Cory, the Old Dominion Trout Bum. He graciously allowed me to create a fly tying tutorial for this fly. Ive been sold on the Jack Daniels. Found a shop on etsy that sold them, bought some, fished them, and had the 2 best days ive ever had in the same week (70 fish landed on wed, 71 landed on saturday) and i will forever carry them as they are a weapon that should be used.
