Thank you. My dad started me on fresh water as a kid. Then sea fishing as an adult. I was always handed a rod set up. I watched ,listened and learned .only I was never introduced to the world of what line, where or why or how to tie line and rigs. My partner of 20 years decided to leave me ,thinking I would give him back his fishing gear. Foolish man, as if! Your tutorials and humour are terrific ,and hopefully will leader,(boom, boom,) to me sending a picture to my ex partner of me and a monster fish. I thank you sir and for not forgetting us ladies as male inches seem to differ from female inches

Graham, Mike I love the show and really enjoy watching your vids. They're very informative and fun too! However I was hoping to convince you guys to produce a vid demonstrating which conditions, i.e. tidal, wind, lunar and temp are best for beach fishing. Looking forward to the next instalment, thanks!

Cheers glad I learnt that Aldbrite Special Knot today, was beach fishing and the bail arm broke off on one of my cheap lineaeffe fixed spool reels. Cut the line and tied it on to my spare multiplier and used it to get the rig back in weed and all. Tied an Aldbrite Special in anger on the beach with people watching ;). Keep up the good work your videos have got me into beach fishing :)

Hey that 3rd knot you tied, if you dont do the 4 twists after but have the same finish is called a end of the line bowline. Leanred it in the service to tie down stuff and to use as a hitch or anchor point. Never thought to use it for fishing though. It's def a great knot to know, ive never had it slip whent ever i used it.

This is truly fantastic.. getting your head around all these nuts can be head spin(pardon the pun) but seeing it as you're doing this the close-up and personal touch helps a lots.. I'm not a master of and what you used in the military is different to what you would use in the fishing world but similar if not the same in some cases.. to be honest when I used to fish 20 years ago it would just be an ordinary knot 🪢 but how different things are these days.. I know some of these nuts are older than yourself and me together . I'm fascinated by the knots you would use for spinner fishing as this is what I'm looking to do more often than float fishing up at the lake District..

For connecting two lines, could you use two Tuck Blood knots, so loop the tag end of the main line and tie the (leader) in and onto the looped mainline, using the standard Tuck Blood, then do the very same to the mainline, you would be left with a Tuck Blood on each line joining the two. Would you think such could work?

I use it with the braid I use,but I'm not a lover of the spidery thin braids.Mine is thick,so although a fiddle pulling it down,I do use it. Haven't had it pull loose yet.But there may be better knots for Braid/mono links.
