    Hi Tim. I have only been following a few weeks now and wanted to say thanks for these tutorials. The siding part that you are eyeing is actually a Fishermans Knot. This one is done what we call a single. If you ,ale an additional loop around then it is a Double Fishermans Knot. You can also do a Triple. You can always tell when it is tied correctly by the X the the loops will form. When you tie them in to the loop that you have done then this loop, when cinched down is called a Prusik Loop. Another great loop used for climbing and rescue work. I tried to leave this in the comments below where everyone was asking what it is called but it wouldn't let me. Thanks again and keep them coming.

    The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials only thing I would throw caution to anyone who uses this, and the way your using it it may never be a problem, but if the two knots are drawn together and loaded, then they could have to be cut loose. These are intended to be PERMANENT. As in FOREVER lol. However if they are drawn together it would make the loop bigger not smaller so it probably would never be an issue. Just keep it in the back of your mind that there is always a chance. On the cool side know that these knots are damn near 100% load rated. They don't degrade the working load of the loop. Good job on the videos. Keep them coming .

    It took me a couple of tries to get the knot itself down, but it looks great. By some miracle I got it centered and tied the sliding knots perfectly on the first try. I haven't taken it off since I made it.

    I got the eternity knot on the first go but then another 30 minutes on ONE of the two sliding knots and then another 20 on the second! It owuld be helpful to hear some advice on how to position the two knots in relation to the eternity knot and on how to size everything so , when closed, the two knots don't come out right next to the big knot and assymetrical to each other.

  • @maddiebug90

    @maddiebug90

    If they're not symmetrical to each other, you can adjust them once you get everything finished (Minus cutting the ends!!) First, you have to figure out which knot you need to adjust to where you can still get it over your hand for it to fit. Then you take that knot, and cinch it up more to where the slack is out. So, where you find your slack, follow that to the knot, and use that slack to follow through the knot, getting the slack out. (Sorry if this is confusing, it'd be much easier to show on video.)

    Great video. Your tutorials are some of the best. I was wondering. Your cord in most of your vids look super soft. Mine is from reputable sellers but a little stlff and can be hard to do loops with. Do you prewash your cord prior to use. Or do something to it to soften it? Thanks and I look forward to more videos.

    Tim - I do love this video, very easy to follow along. However, I do worry about your fingers; they look "weathered". Please take care of them. Namaste.

    +Michael Hoshall Thanks Michael! At the time of making this video I was working heavily with my hands as I was running and operating a painting business. I'm no longer doing that, so my hands are much better now. They still show wear from all the manual work I've done, but they're much better now. :)

    Ahh ok, well I'm glad you at least tried it out! Have you tried ordering paracord online? I'm sure there are some sellers out there that will ship to the Netherlands.

    Fernando Hernandez Hey Fernando, the paracord I use is 550 paracord from RW Rope Company, but sometimes I also use Atwood Rope paracord. Most of the made in USA paracord is the best.

    How do you get the knot in the middle of the bracelet? With my tries it's alway a little out of the middle.

  • @TheWeaversofEternity

    Ciedric2 You kinda just have to play with it and tie it a few times so that it ends up in the middle, or you can just use a really long piece of cord and cut the ends so that they're even.
