I am 68 and stopped wearing ties a long time ago, and due to age forgot how to tie a tie. Thanks to you, I am back looking sharp and stylish again. The thing I like most about this video is, it is straight up and precise. Instead of giving a long winding story about when tie-wearing started and how the Romans wore a tie-like thing around their neck in the 14th century and all that.

All my school life, it used to be my eldet sister who made my tie. Or anyone who knew it. I used to keep it as it is, until the tie used to be washed. Now I am a doctor, and my cousin's son wanted his tie fixed and asked me. I came to this. I smiled and had it done.

Everyone fails the first few times. My dad taught me this method but with using the left thumb as a pivot for the active end throughout and I failed at least 6/7 attempts.

Thank you! I recently graduated and I'm going to a new school now where we have to wear ties. No one ever taught me how to tie one so this was really helpful and easy to understand! my first attempt came out mediocre at best but it was pretty close to yours :) Edit: IT'S BEEN A FEW HOURS AND I MANAGED TO TIE IT IT LOOKS SO GOOD OH MY GOD THANK YOU!!!

Started watching this video when I was 12 years old, have been watching it for 4 years now, I am 16 now but I routinely forget how to tie a full Windsor and this is the exact one saved in my collection for this purpose, this is one of the most simplistic and informative videos on KZread, props to you man, you've made me a man

I did this on the first try and I’m in the 6th grade I remember slamming my ties on the floor when i was little trying to tie a tie But this video made me do the “Best tie I ever seen” according to my parents Thank you so much for the help it means a lot to me By: Isaac H

I did it!!! This was the second video I watched today, and after 3 failed attempts with another video, I was able to tie my son’s necktie on the first try while watching this video. Thank you!!! My husband is away serving with the navy and couldn’t be here to help my son today. You’re a lifesaver. ♥️

Argh y'all stupid or something? If a women doesn't know how to tie a tie, then let them LEARN. I guess you didn't know how to do things when you were born. Second thing: It's good when a mom wants to teach her son something, specially if he's young! But if he's older.. Well, he could look it up on his own lmao. 3rd pt.: Not every country has uniforms, therefore they never wore ties.

My dad used to teach me how to tie it exactly like that at the age of 12 and I was still getting confused🤦🏾‍♂️😂😂 now it looks easy to me. It brings me back memories thank you so much❤️❤️

I can tie a tie from memory now, but I'll never forget you. Edit: side note, thank you for being so descriptive (ex: switch hands, with your left hand, leave your index finger here) I wouldn't have been able to figure it out without it. I honestly say "now for the punchline" when I'm threading it through the last part, lol. Thank you.

All this time I could tie only one knot, The Half-Windsor. But thanks to you, now I know how to tie the Full/Double-Windsor too ❤️

I have my first in-service meeting as a first responder, plus pictures, so ofc super formal, ive never tied a tie before, ive tried countless guides but nothing has helped me, I saw your video and got my tie perfect first try!! Your video is very easy to follow, thank you so much for the video !!

I've recently started a government job and have been starting my day with this video every day since I began. There's a simpler knot to tie but it doesn't look as sharp as the double Windsor. Thank you for this video, you made it easier for me to impress my bosses!
