Thank you so much! My son got goldfish cracker drool all over his cloth tie in church and so when I got home I popped it in the washer to get the drool off. Well... the tie came all undone in the wash and the regular knot I used to tie my husband's tie was not working! 😤😒 This video worked really well and I got the tie fixed. I saw another video on this topic, but since you video was just as helpful, you deserve my equal gratitude. Thank u so much for making this video and for the detailed instructions. I recently saw this idea applied to a men's tie. It was part a shirt and tie packaged together. The tie was attached to the shirt using a rubber band (of all things). I tried to reproduce the effect myself, but, not being crafty at all, I failed. so, I decided to see if my youtube friends could help me out. Sure enough, you made a video for me. Thanks again.

Thank you. I can tie a normal tie but my kid wears one of these and untied it, leaving me pondering how it worked. Looks like a Double-Windsor knot, modified. Thanks again - you got me out of trouble. Beats me why this video has so many “unlikes”. I guess hipsters have lots of time on their hands to attack the tie-wearing establishment?

THANK YOU!!!! Only one I’ve seen that makes sense. Mine was a very short tie which made it even harder. Tying it over the band with a pencil then pulling the pencil out helped me a lot.
