What kind of tie knot did you try to do before this? This one and the Windsor knot are all you need to know and they're super easy to do.

I did the Eldredge knot beforehand.

The images on google that show you "how to tie a tie" aren't helpful at all, they just make you more confused and angry lol

@@blue146.2 Try it a few more times. This is the easiest I have found. I tried dozens of videos. Took me about an hour. I'm a tie tard.

I wear ties so infrequently sometimes I forget how to do 'em and just need a quick refresher. This is the best one by far. It took me so much longer to find a good video than it did to follow the first half of your video and just tie my tie.

Same here but when you've done it once you usually don't need to redo it. Just loosen the tie a little and slip it over your head.

Simple knot all the way: I am a simple man so my knots should be simple too

Needed to tie a tie for the first time in many years yesterday and this video allowed me to do it in about 5 minutes(had to replay certain parts a few times). Thank you very much for posting this.

It is 2024 right now but this video is timeless. It took me just one attempt to understand how a tie works and voila!!! Amazing.
