I just got a 160g Halo Mamba. It is a bit more stable than my Gstar. I find that I can hizer flip it with just a 5 degree or so hizer with 80% power and it will flat out and glide dead straight for at least 320ft with a fade that carries another 20ft easy. Love dat disc. Keep it up man!

Oh and I have noodle for an arm. The mamba and my GStar Tern stay in my bag.

@@jamesbarnett4844 yea I also have those discs. The halo flips up nicely but can fight out of a slight anhyzer a bit better. Like you seen on that huge anhyzer throw with this thing. It fought out of it nicely and came back and basically parked a 350ft hole. I wish I could throw farther than that though

For sure! I miss my GStar mamba but I love the halo too. It’s like a completely different disc almost

Only Mamba i used to own was a 148g Star one. I throw forehand/overhand only, & can throw pretty far(430-450ft), but i could still make such a super understable disc work well. Used it for really long turnover shots, that went more left than a backhand :d. I need replacement for it, since it got lost in the snow :(. This Halo one ain't for me, if it really is nothing like my Star one was. Or should it still be very understable for my arm?

The good thing about halo discs vs the star or other plastic versions is no matter how understable they are, you can rip them on flat and they will get an amazing s line out of it. You can flip them over too much but like I always say halos are rip resistant. Even the mako3. I had a star and you had to be very touchy with the shot but the halo you can rip on flat and it goes straight right up until the end of the flight. But if halos aren’t for you I’d say a GStar. Don’t go too light. I actually like my understable discs to be on the heavier side.

@@StevenKitchensDiscGolf The Mamba served exactly one purpose for me really: a steep, & high hyzer flip, that flips up & keeps traveling left(rhfh) for all eternity. I would've never thrown it for any normal distance shots, due to how much hyzer i needed to put it in. Pretty much threw it vertical, & still had a chance of it becoming a distance roller. For more normal distance shots, i throw a Corvette, Vulcan, Charger, Shryke, Destroyer, Zeus etc. All glide for a long time for me, if i just throw them hard & flat. Not much of a fade, if i bomb em. Innova drivers feel solid for me, cause in Champ/Star plastic, those discs still require an arm. The Vulcan is ''-4 turn'', but nah. Not in Champ plastic, unless maybe if you throw like 600ft ;D. All of those can be turned too much, but it requires quite a bit effort/unintentional anny.
