Very good! is one simple way and very efficient of producing electricity. Mainly by using a small heat source. And giving us instructions to make one. Congratulations.

A little misleading as your average cell phone charger puts out around 5.2v. All in all great video!! I am familiar with thermal electric cells and it was cool to see a DIY process.

Thermal paste might give a better thermal connection to the peltier. You know - the stuff for CPU heat-sinks.

I'm also interested in knowing how to regulate the voltage to a consistent flow. Not going to connect it to anything till I can do that. Thx for vid ;)

bigger temperature difference - more ellectricity. you can even put liquid nitrogen in it, so it will give about twice energy.

Err, using a heat 'sink' as the hot side is rather incorrect. Heat sinks are intended to disapate heat, not concentrate it. I admit, it does kinda work in this arrangement but, there are more efficient arrangements. The pot of water is the real heatsink.

I'm not surprised your fibre washers didn't seal, ever heard of a de-burring tool?.
