Sorry, this is wrong. The only way is to use an oscilloscope. All you are testing is continuity.

Well what if you have a multimeter that doesn’t use the beep function then what reading am I looking for?

I am not convinced that your video is accurate, any references?

Good video but this is over kill lol. Just check if you getting 120 to the inverter from the board. And check the windings on the compressor and you can find your answer by process of elimination.
