So fun to see my guests and their cool stuff on Ask Dr. Lori LIVE. I liked Liz's Japanese plate, circa early 20th Century. Look for the marks and know them. Lots of info about how to tell marks on my other videos.

I love Blue Willow! I have my grandmothers set, my moms and some of my aunts. Some of pieces don't have the same design but it's ok to me. I love my mixed-up set! Love your videos Dr. Lori❤
Dr. Lori it’s so fun to learn with you, thank you so much 😊
So excited to listen to your evaluations. As always very informative.
Another great live as always! Hopefully I’ll be one of the lucky guests next time to be on, thank you Dr. Lori and staff for all you do!🙂
My big sister got me a RED Slinky for my 6th Birthday in 1961. . After much use, the red paint began to flake off till it was basically silver. Now I'm thinking, oh great, probably lead paint - the "perfect" toy for children! 😂
You are Cool!! Thx and you seem completely open to people, not stuck on shades of colors!!! Thx‼️‼️🌅🌅🏵️
I am intrigued by the collar box. Never knew something like that existed. You are always teaching us new things every time

Slinky!! They are so fun!
I have that same red dolphin that I also inquired at a thrift store about two years ago for maybe $3 or $4. I can not believe its worth over $100! I love the info you provided Dr. Lori! I thought it was Murano when I got it but wasn’t sure until now. Thank you!
Dr Lori my daughter is in graduate school studying public history. She has an anthropology degree and desires a PHD in classical and Mediterranean archaeology. She was overwhelmed Friday with readings. Being an educator myself I volunteered to read an article an give her a synopsis. The article was about material culture by Charles Montgomery. As I read, I kept hearing your voice about dating and evaluating pieces. I actually understood the article because of watching your videos. Thanks greatly!!
Just got my loop!💕💕

Enjoyed watching this video, good content. My wife and I were at an auction this past Sunday and we acquired a piece, it is called Big fish and dolphin murano glass paper weight. I thought the word paper weight was a bit much for such a beautiful piece. We have it up on our eBay store , hopefully it does well. And watching this video and you talking about Murano glass, I knew what to look for, thanks again Lori, appreciate all the video's you make. Oh and I would have chosen the slinky because I like noise lol. Have a bless day.
Every time someone on my Vintage sites ask how to get an appraisal, I suggest Dr. Lori and give the link!
Loved our Video call! My parents went to a world's fair in NY

Very informative about the USA Olympic poster. Thanks. It appears there some waves/wrinkles of the paper, bottom right corner.
One of these days I will make it to a live video.
You always look nice, but since you asked! Blue and red are the best colors for you imho, but the Very Best Look is your square necklines -- which of course you can accessorize as you wish. Square necklines all the way home!

Dr. Lori, I had your loupe, and used it alot. On my birthday in Dec. My daughter gave me a puppy since me and my husband had just moved into a new house. One day I laid the loupe down on our ottoman. A bit later it was no where to be found. I'm scared to death the puppy ate it!! Pray not. Guess I'll order another. Lol

hi Dr. Lori. Its Elizabeth, I was on this episode and had the USA Olympic framed print. I used the loop after your show and the signatures are not dots like the rest of the print. The signatures are indeed pen strokes, not dots. Would that increase the value? Thanks again for all you do. We Love you!!
@DrLoriV

See how important the loupe is? Next time, take a look with the loupe before the show. Value is based on many factors. And one of my community members here confirmed that LA was the city of the 1984 Olympics.
❤❤❤
I'm having trouble when I try to get on. It takes me to were you check the mic then at the bottom it says enter studio. Then kicks me back to start everytime I touch the blue button to go in. As soon as the show is over then it lets me in. When do I hit the blue button that says enter the studio??

Dr.Lori, Hi u doing? I found 2 Babe Ruth baseball cards inside of 2 ancient comic books that's been stored away since my kids were kids. Oldest is nearing 50yrs old. Do you think they have value? Very slightly damaged with a little kids scribble on them.

Many factors affect value. Need to see them. Send me photos at www.drloriv.com/find-values/online/online-appraisal-form/ or schedule a video call at www.drloriv.com/find-values/from-your-video-call/. See how on my website.

You say you liked Liz's Blue Willow plate, but didn't give a valuation. Personally, I thought she was just trying to be funny since she had a similar piece. I also thought your reaction was a bit harsh. Hope she doesn't feel too bad. I really don't think she was trying to make a sale.
