@@juneyshu6197 Thank you for the reply. I will simply share. YES do it! I enjoyed “my 30 yrs of stuff”. I battled in court for the correct time to move which is end of lease; plus extra time and it was granted. I had mixed feeling but I struggled through it. I am in a better place now as a senior with disabilities. The items I have chosen to keep I am more healthy and happy. No more worries “what will I do with all….this stuff” anxiety, stress and depression. I continue on the journey to remind myself “ I don’t need overwhelming amounts sitting around to be “content”. I like me now!

So glad you talked about the books. I've been walking past them the last 5 or 6 years. Now I know better.

It is amazing to me the valuable books donated at thrift stores and Goodwill. A charity shop I frequently visit sells 10 books for a whopping one dollar. First editions and some inscribed by author are many I’ve found and treasure.

My local thrift store is very small and has a small area for books and one of the employees told me that they throw books straight in the dumpster because they have no room for them. yet there's cameras there to stop people from retrieving them. It's sad. they could redonate them but they are too careless.

I don’t do Goodwill ,it’s estate and garage sales all the way for me. I never pay the marked price and the things you see at the goodwill were at the garage and estate sakes first.

My values are based on what people really pay. Actual sales. Believe what you want. People sell below market value all the time ... that is what you are quoting at $4.99, well under market value.

I have one of the original Trivial Pursuit games. It was a prototype, and they made about 100. Half the answers are wrong. Got it in the mid 70s!

Use parchment paper in the bottom of your baking pan. Nothing will stick.

I make banana bread and yes it sticks to bread like cupcake liners stick to cupcakes.

I can't stand when things are arranged by color. If I want to go on and find a serving bowl, for example, I can't look at housewares - I have to look at everything. How inconvenient!!

I myself bought a pre 70s decanter but it wasn't crystal unfortunately.. I picked it up for $4 because it looked nice but it turn out to be an Owens Illinois Carafe bottle brick pattern glass decanter which I've seen that they've been going for $40 or more on places like Poshmark and eBay, so I just thought it was a steal considering the condition of it anyways. Love your content as usual Dr. Lori!
