I'm now really sure that i'm buying my horse a new or second hand saddle that fits him right! I feel sorry for him that he had to go through that amount of pain without me knowing.... Thanks for the vid!

This is so cool, I could watch these videos all day! I am now looking back at my old trainer and how I had many problems with my horse and her back was always sore. And looking back and watching these I can see what the problem was, always best to learn from different trainers because you could be learning the wrong things.

@Calamity538 or like getting a shoe too small, and adding more padding to fix it, but it really squeezes it more...this guy came to my old barn and did a clinic :)

I just bought (ordered) a new saddle for my horse today, as I finally worked out he was hurting and I could not fix it with different foam / gel pads. I was curious to see this video to see if I missed any signs and I suppose I did. But I picked up on the more obvious: a patch of white hair behind his wither and extremely sensitive back after being ridden for a lengthy period of time. Thanks for the video, I hope it helps others. Horses don't talk, so we must be alert to signs instead!

My horse doesnt like to go and offen gets a sore spot at the back of his back. He moves like crazy when saddleing. He is a little better when i ride him bare back. he goes with no problem, i think that is because he likes to be funny and he knows that i cant really ride bare back so he likes to surve but some how he always ends up back under me, but his back doesnt get sore. I ride westrn and english but i can't buy him an Arabain saddle in english or western... They are a min of $500.
