This video shows PART 1 of my workshop build, which is about how to demolish a small building and level the ground. We used a backhoe digger to tear down the block walls and remove the foundation of the small shed and to remove the excess soil. We also used a dump truck to move away the dirt and the debris left from the demolishing process.
The small building was placed near the house and the space was extremely tight, so we had to work with caution. The backhoe and the small dump truck were of great help, so we managed to demolish the building and level the ground in just two days.
First of all, we cleared the area around the small building so we have room to maneuver the backhoe and the truck. In addition, we salvaged the lumber from the roof, as well as the metal sheets and the front door.
Although the process might seem very easy, you need to make sure you pay attention to the risks and stay away when you tear down the walls.
