Комедия
A short tutorial with exercises designed to help your dressage horse learn flying changes. In the video the rider is Henry, and the first horse is Mav (show name Finest Dream) by Finest x Donnerhall) owned by Sara Branch and Henry, and the 2nd horse is Fireball owned by Judy Craymer.

I have watched so many videos trying to figure this out, and yours is the first one that made sense. Little talking gibberish, just fundamentals. Thank you so much
I love the way in which your explanation and your entire demeanor are so calming and simple and make it all seem really quite doable. All of it makes sense, it gives me the feeling that I can carry this over into my own practice. A truly excellent teaching video. Thank you.
Just like to say thank you for making this video, it is nice to watch and helpful plus the horse seems to enjoy the work
😎 video. This makes it easy for both the horse and rider to understand. My horse has wanted to start running and the way you show helps help her slower without pulling on her face.
Now I know how to do it 😮Thank you❤😊
Nice and relaxed-like it
Great tips, thank you!
Excelent! Thank you
You should try using Pivo to record these videos when alone :)
Any tips on how to fix late flying change ? It’s always half foule late as my mare learnt her changes by doing a jump. She jumps up, not too forward, one hind takes all the weight and is used to push her from it and then it follows in new lead. I tried making hundreds of walk canter walk counter canter departs, they are nice prompt and uphill, quality of the canter itself is fine too. I tried making sure she’s straight and make changes from leg yields, also from renvers. Always late. I consulted with couple of trainers and nobody seems to find a solution. I would be more than grateful if you can suggest something ?

I sometimes find carry a dressage whip, and tapping them with it behind my leg aid at the exact moment I ask for the change with my heel!

Not sure it will help, but try to delay your aid as much as you can Press your spur when hind legs are in the air and front legs on the ground, you really need to find the timing so she has to change the hind legs first. Imagine sitting on a balloon, your body goes up and down as the horse lopes. The up part is when the hind legs leave the ground. When your on top of the bounce, ask with your leg for the change.
im not sure what to do every time my horse feels like I'm off balance he does a flying change but then i get even more unbalanced from him changing without me expecting so we end up skipping haha xD please help!!
