Watch Reading Rockets on youtube, reading specialist Linda Farrell teaches a 2nd grader the difference by using a "b hand" reference.

You can use a brass fastener along with a clip. Or you can go to a local teacher’s store and buy the spinners (I do that). They come in packages of 8 . I print on card stock and laminate them, then I add the spinner and reuse the activity.

Lisa shared some great ideas!! I usually use a paperclip and a pencil on a sheet like the one I showed above. Students hold the pencil, and flick the paperclip so it spins around the circle! Ouch, in your shopping for letters game you use the incorrect form of the word you’re ( you are) you use your ( possessive ). Is there a version with that corrected. I would love to have it.
