video call. I usually use skype or just the italki platform :)

Sorry, I know you posted this two years ago, but is there lesson material that you use in the lessons or is it just face to face video chatting? Any texts or things like that?

It depends on the tutor and the agreement. Some use visuals and send useful things.

Yes for me it’s just conversation most of the time. Occasionally we will read a text and answer questions if students ask to do that.

What happens if a student doesn't show up in class

Italki charges the student when they book the lesson so you would get paid regardless

Would it be good to teach on there if you only know your native language?

You could teach your native language with either the direct method or for advanced students.

I have experience volunteering as a tutor for some columbian people, so this might work out
