Watching this make me feel like an old timer. Lol. Im 35years old and been tattooing in the good ol' USA for 15 years now. I still use coils and would have lined this whole tattoo with a tight 7 in about 15-20 min and bold lined it with a 9rd, in about 10 min. Would have shaded the whole thing with just black and a 9 mag. Great to see the new generation doing things so different. Looks great man. Im really enjoying the videos. Crazy to see how stuck in the stone age i am. Lol.

Congrats on the 15 years and hope ya still going strong 🙌🏻 honestly there’s probably better ways to do this just what works for me lol and hopefully helps people pick up something along the way as there are a lot of bad tattooers giving even worse advice on this platform haha. I do love me a 9 mag but I like to smooth out bigger area with something bigger so I’m not hitting the same spot over and over again might be slower or quicker I don’t know haha. I’m self taught but would love to try out your way sometime that’s for sure 🙌🏻 thanks for feedback and support means a lot

Nice video man! I found you off of the tattoo group. I've been tattooing for around two and a half years only a licensed artist for 8 months. That tattoo was crispy man. 👌I also use the Cheyenne hawk pen. But I run it from 6.5 to 8. But I think I'll try it your way next time thanks for help

Needles for lining was a 9 liner from t tech I think. 10.5 volts using the Cheyenne hawk which is a 4mm stroke

I hate the Cheyenne pen for lines I use the solnova unlimited and i use kwadrons liners they work the best for bold lines

Yeah pens are never really great for lining but you just have to adjust your style . I do so many styles so it’s easier for me to use the pen :)

What do you use to wipe the tattoo as you go ? If you dont mind me asking mate

Just water with paper towel bro. Sometimes green soap with water too :)
