Well if you have long hair one trick that works for things like one cheek being bigger than the other is putting hair the behind your ears so it only frames the smaller cheek making it look bigger and your othet unframed cheek smaller

I have that issue too! Highly recommend using photo apps instead of the iPhone camera. I personally use snapchat and edit them later for my selfies.

It’s because the phone camera flips the image and Snapchat one doesn’t so in Snapchat you’re seeing the reflection that you’re used to seein whereas in the phone camera you’re seeing an image that you are not accustomed too but that’s closer to how you actually look.
