Thank you for doing this! I picked up some really helpful tips. I'm just a home user and only have myself to take my own pictures to post and it's definitely not the easiest thing to take nice pictures that don't have an ugly glare or shadow in the wrong place or nice position of all the fingers...I've learned that outside lighting is almost always my favorite lighting. Like you said, it's softer and usually friendlier to the skin lol. Totally agree with both of you about what you were saying at 12:45 - I call that pose "The Claw" 😅 It's never pretty and it's overused. You could have the most beautiful set of nails that were ever sculpted but pose them in "The Claw"? Immediately ugly 😅😅 Edit - forgot to add a thank you to Oliwia also! She was great too! ❤

Thank you SO much for these tips, off course i have learned something on the way, also with tapeing the fingers together, putting a bit behind the fingers if it has a tendency to go back. I will definitely start to make more full sets and taking pictures, i can sometimes see from other nailtechs iff the gab in the cuticle is to wide, that irritates me😅 but amazing video❤❤❤

I struggle taking pictures soooo much... My clients wear much shorter nails, so already I don't have that length to add slimness. When I take the photos, the nails come out looking fat or wide. Someone told me it's because I have the camera to close. That the camera should be held far away when you take the picture, and then you zoom in on that picture, and take another picture ... Which at the moment I understood and made sense, but I don't see any of you creator's, doing that- so I feel, that must not be right. Is that a trick or technique you use? Maybe they meant it's the way it is done for short or active length nails? Do you take pictures differently if your client has short nails? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer... 😊
