I tried contact lenses for the first time today I couldn’t get them out but this technique makes much more sense wish I’d seen this before my appointment today. I’m booked in for a weeks time to have another go & will be using one of your techniques thank you 🙏

OMG! I'm a new contact lens wearer, and I struggled putting on and taking off my lenses until I came across this video. I literally had a follow-up appt with my doctor today and spent an hour trying to get my lenses on before driving to my appt. I said I needed an easier way, and this video came up and SAVED the day. The doctor ended up changing my prescription and had me put on the new lens. I removed the old one and replaced the new one in mere minutes. She even said , "Youre done already".""I said yup I've been practicing 😂 Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Your videos need to be the universal instructional video. God bless you

the last time i tried getting my contacts out i tried for 3 hours and couldn’t get them out. i hope this vid helps me

For those still struggling, I couldn't take one lense out for 1 hour... Then I tried to look up a little, pull bottom eyelid down, place thumb and index finger on my eye like I would want to pinch it right from cornea, but I did not squeeze my fingers yet. I moved lense down to the white area with both fingers and just then immediately pinched it, so it was pretty easy to grab and there was no chance for lense to move back to the middle of the eye at the same time. And you really need dry fingers to work it best. Good luck.

Thank you for an excellent instructional video. After 50 years of wearing rigid contacts was switched to soft contacts today. Huge difference in removal technique for soft contacts and your video not only showed effective methods but also how to safely remove my new lenses. Appreciate that you made the effort to shoot this tutorial.

I've been using contacts for approximately 12 years. I have been declining to use them because removing them was a stressful "end-of-day" drama. Great knowledge and execution. Thank you.

You are a lifesaver! My teenage son was not able to take off the lense the way it was shown to him in optometrist office. A LOT of screaming and despair at 11 pm. Your video is fantastic. Great direct explanations and demonstrations, plus visuals with the model. Just got contacts today; panicked because I could not get them out tonight despite watching other popular vids. Thank you so much- you calmed and saved me. Lol. How do you manipulate your eyes so much without them turning red and irritated? My right eye especially, is red and feels wrecked after trying the methods in other videos. So grateful you demonstrated an alternate method of swiping. First time having nails longer than "piano length" for a wedding, and terrified of pinching or going near my eye with nails.

😂 thanks for the feedback! I must say working with eyeballs everyday gives me an advantage of being calm while handling contacts. Less handling = less redness!

First contact lenses user here been trying for an hour and this video is the closest I’ve gotten to taking them out!! 😩😩 but man it’s difficult not used to touching my eye!!

I have only been wearing them for a month and often times I have to sleep in them or wear them for days at a time because I can't get them out. This video showed me a much easier way to take my contact lens out. Thank you for sharing.

My hands get really sweaty. Like I only sweat from my hands and feet. So the pinching method wasn't working for me because my hands kept getting moist and the lense just kept slipping around. The second method worked like a charm. As a first time lense wearer, this video is the bomb!! Thanks!

Finally tried contacts today and managed to get them out with a lot of struggle 😭 I kept wondering why the blink method didn't work but now I see I was stretching my eyelids wrong. To those who are starting: I ruined like 3 pairs while learning how to put them in!! (I was using daily ones and didn't have a way to clean them if they dropped or dried out). Eventually I got em but by that time I got used to the feeling of my fingers kinda touching my eye. So if you're struggling-it's fine. You'll get it after a bit

you are exactly like me. my mom also helps me and she at work one day and so i tried to get them out. after around ten- twenty minutes i got one out and i was really happy. eventually, around an hour or two later i couldn’t get the other one out and i was having a massive headache from the vision difference and was crying (i don’t really know what a panic attack is, so i won’t specify it as that) and eventually, after 3 hours of trying to get it out, my mom can home. i’m so grateful for her

omg this was great bc the doctor taught me to pull it to the side and pinch from there but i always scratch my eye and it hurts every time I did that to the point I was ready to give up wearing contacts for glasses. tried this rn and no pain!!! thank you !

Antonio I love you I got contacts for the first time today and I was crying cuz I was freaking out cuz I couldn’t get my contacts out and I tried it this way it took about 5 or so minutes for both compared to an hour trying to get only one out I wish I could give you a hug I owe you my life and my eyeballs I have decided I will be naming my first born son Antonio after todays events
