Thanks for the guide. My daughter somehow got a bunch of a slimy sweet inside her controller and the dpad wouldn't move so with this guide I was able to take it apart and clean it. I couldn't get the grip panels off with my hands, but I had some of those plectrum style things for taking apart phones and they worked for this. The molegrips made both of us laugh though - if only there were a purpose-built tool for removing screws!

Hey man, i just wanted to say thank you for making this video! I actually avoided the first steps and broke down the controller right away. Lifting up the Dpad and cleaning the connector worked perfectly! Unfortunately I also have 2 other controllers that have analog stick problems. Any solutions suitable for this?
