I've just completed a library of all the great literary works with a combination of Easton Press, Franklin Oxford and Folio Society high end and limited edition books... many worth over $1000 ... and now I'm obsessed with preserving it for generations to come... wish there was more content like this on KZread.

Would that method eventually damage the pages, especially if they are tightly shelved? You probably recommend not tightly shelving books, but sometimes there just isn't enough room. Maybe you have done this before, but is putting books upright the best way, or is laying them down better? Thanks.

It should not damage the pages. Shelving too tightly causes splay, which I have also done a video about: kzread.info/dash/bejne/YnypqLaFj8SYfc4.html

What about books that are too tall to reach an arm over?
