Hi shweta, I wanted to ask that I completed my graduation in 2020 and becoz of corona I lost my job so I started working on my hobby and making some hand crafted products that I sell on e-commerce sites and through other social media platforms. I worked in a company for 3 months in my field after ease of lockdown restrictions and then started preparing for Bank and MBA exams. I am targeting this year cat exam and currently not employed anywhere but already have started with some online certification courses in analytics as I wish to move in this field. Can you tell me if the above mentioned time will be counted under gap year or not and will it impact my chances of getting in MBA college? Also I have no experience in analytics field and on the basis of the certifications, how can I apply for internships and jobs. I am from healthcare sector and want to start my career in healthcare analytics. Please give some guidance 🙏

Yes switching career is very difficult, because you need to start from scratch in that field and salary also as a fresher in that field.

I graduated in 2018 (BCOM) and am already 25. I don't have any work ex or internships till now due to health reasons. Just wanted to resume my career from now. My profile in 10th, 12th, BCOM is 79%, 82%, 56%. So even if I score 95+ percentile in CAT/OMETs and get calls, will I be able to convert any top 20 B Schools considering having gap years? Asking this coz I haven't started preparation yet. Just wanted to be sure and don't want to waste another year.

Most of the banks provide 12-15 years for repaying iim loans . If I pay my loan in 15 years instead of 1-2 years . Do I need to pay interest on paying in 15 years?. Please answer this😊

obviously, and interest starts from the time you take loan, so you need to pay interest even in your 2 years of MBA. But, you will pay interest later, but that starts as soon as you take loan. And, there is tax redemption for full interest amount upto 7 or 8 years. So, it is best to pay loan in this tenure. Moreover, the interest is compound ,and not simple interest

I’d say buy any laptop other than Mac - some softwares we used were not compatible with Apple. Also, when you enter a Bschool, laptop companies offer you some discounts, so you can wait for their offer too

Give both times. Giving at 2nd year will give you understanding of real CAT exam , but you will be eligible for admission after 3rd year
