Well there's this weird bug I don't know if it's in modern versions but if you fall three blocks onto the bottom part of a stair it can cause you to take phantom damage or basically you get the hurt noise but you take zero damage The only version I'm aware of that does this is Minecraft wiiU 1.13

@@DamienPup that depends on how you define strong. if you define it by practical ability to deal damage then trident drowneds are much more dangerous, and in any case a brute can't hurt you if it trips and falls to death beforehand. if you count actual attack damage, then creepers still outstrip them by magnitudes. piglin brutes are a nonissue if you're remotely prepared.

The reason /kill doesn't work on 1.6 and below with resistance is because /kill before 1.6 did 1000 damage then was eventually changed to 3.4×1038 void damage in 1.6 but then the future 1.8 update changed /kill to kill non living objects (absolutely everything) therefore making it impossible to survive

Obviously, if you're in creative mode, you would survive /kill, as you can't die in creative mode whatsoever, however, it is interesting to note that, prior to 1.8, back when /kill still dealt a finite amount of damage damage, applying /kill to creative mode players actually made the command act as if it had been successful, as shown with the "killed [player]" message being printed out, though the creative mode players had been unaffected as if nothing had ever happened, but from 1.9 onwards, if you try to apply /kill to creative mode players, you'll actually receive an error message saying "no target matched selector", which is funny, considering that if the same players were instead in survival mode, the command would've worked just as fine and they'd die.

@@TheInvisibleCanadia You must be playing on Bedrock, because in Java, /kill doesn't work against creative mode players as they're immune to the command, just like spectator mode players, however, /kill does work against players with totems of undying as the command bypasses the totems, rendering them useless against the command.

So, /kill just deletes entities by slapping their hitboxes fueled by the rage of ten thousand suns. On 2b2t, some guys made a lag machine so powerful it deleted their hitboxes without killing them while the machine was active. /kill would not affect these people because that means that they have no hitbox to get slapped by a slap fueled by the rage of ten thousand suns.

Yes, i once made tnt minecart madness command and gave insane amount of instant regeneration and regeneration. And I lost where I was so i typed /kill, I got "You Died" message, but after clicking respawn button, I was at the place where I died. I pressed f5, and my character was freakin shaking like crazy.

Abras Maybe the starting villain is too strong so you go back in time and defeat young them You arrive at their house and get ready to hunt them, but young villain gets away. When you get back to normal time you flee from the villain. Anyway, later a bit in the story you figure out the villain was evil because he experienced childhood trauma. The main character spends the rest of the game figuring out who caused his and when this happened so they can stop them and truly prevent the villain from becoming evil while hiding and fighting other villains and the main villains henchmen. Turns out it’s the main character and then you time travel back to when the main character was getting ready to hunt the young villain. You tell past you to not hunt down the young villain but they don’t listen to you and the final fight is you against past you Yeah this storyline sucks

@@theguywhoasked2352 how about the reverse then: the villain is too strong so you solve his childhood trauma, causing him to become a good person, able to reach all the hobbies he was unable to before, so he can finally be happy. The first half is the hero realizing how bad the villain's trauma is, and the second half is figuring out how to do it unobtrusively

Literally 75% of the video is just him talking about damage in general, just to throw the idea away, and then start talking about /kill on what's left of the video, and surprise surprise, you can't survive it. Also, if you have to use command to modify the blast power of a fireball, just to break bedrock, you might aswell just put yourself on creative and break the block that way.

Why? that seems entirely useless as anyone with powers to /kill can also have the power to do /ban. I clicked on this because I wanted to hear about the mechanics of damage and /kill, as the title implies, and got just that. Also, about the fireball, well no shit? The fireball is to show that breaking bedrock is theoretically possible with an explosion, contrary to popular belief, rather than breaking bedrock in general.
