How To Survive a Wild Imaginary West

This week, I built my first 1:35 scale diorama set in the Wild Imaginary West. I wanted to go into a little more detail, not only on the character, but on a bit of the history of the Wild Imaginary West as well.
Inspiration for this build was Oliver Spaeth:

@@ChrisPage68 No worries, the rider opted for the spine augmentation when he had to have that rear leg replaced. Besides, the device doesn't weigh all that much seeing as its mostly magnetic coils enveloping special crystals. Thus causing a sub-audible noise that only monsters can hear which repels them without harming other wildlife. (...or so I have been told. 😀)

I think it would have been cool if the top antenna had a blinking beacon light at the top. That said I absolutely love this one. I am very impressed with your use of color to fake the lighting at different times of day. You're doing some amazing work in all areas of this creation. Your background painting is top notch and all of the creative additions and changes to the model are first rate. This is a super cool base. It is fun seeing how many disciplines you have in your arsenal; 3D printing, scratch building, kit bashing, painting, etc. Amazing work as usual. Have you seen the artist, Shaun Keenan that mixes wild west with dinosaurs? I think your world mixed with his dinos mixed in would be so cool.

I normally prefer the more small scale builds, but I really liked the way you did this one in the larger scale. I love your imaginary wild west setting and all the lore you have developed for it over the course of these builds. Can't wait to hear and see more, but specifically, we have yet to see the military in this setting. You have mentioned them a scant few times, and I get more and more intrigued about what you think they might be and look like in this world you have made. You've also mentioned maybe making another working train diorama... perhaps a military train :) Keep making these and keep just having fun making all your other dioramas and I am certain you will have a lifetime viewer :)

I’m always amazed by how natural your rockwork looks. It feels plausible and naturalistic, never staged or contrived. It really sells the setting.
