Dude I just honestly want to thank you for your videos. I got a lot out of this one and the skill zone vid, and I'm watching ALL of them now..I've been a completely horrible to mid-horrible player since NHL14 since, although I love the game of hockey with every molecule of my being, I know absolutely nothing about the mechanics of the game..on NHL18. with a 15-36-8 record, using your tips and strategies, I've won my last 3 games straight and I'm more motivated to practice now. Thank you!! You also are saving me a lot of $$$$ since I won't be throwing my controller against the wall in total frustration anymore. Thanks for looking out for the little guys.

For me, a guy who bought his first ps4 NHL game, the AI seems so OP and agressive in online games. It feels like its not anymore about the human players skill to beat the opponent. The AI seems to do everything. Is it same with past NHL games on ps4? I last played NHL with ps3.

The AI is extra difficult to beat this year.

NoS, I know that you weren't impressed with the synergy effect in an earlier vid. I'm starting to build a team around syns. whether it makes a diff. or not because the competition has been tough in all divs. this year. I noticed that your team is comprised of many elite players. So, I'm wondering whether you feel that syns. can make a diff. if you don't have elite players to rely on? Comment on pack luck this year too. I've pulled a Modano, Bure, and Hedman in the weekly pre-order packs. Have you noticed that packs are extremely generous so far?

How is your pass speed so fast and it seems like you don't have to power up the pass. it's takes forever for my players to pass the puck almost 2 seconds!

Can you make a video about how to score a goal when your opponent is spamming the poke check constantly. Literally no potential in this game and no effort to defend.

Hold A or X to protect the puck in the opposite direction of them and let them trip you, go on the PP and if you can't set up or if he's doing it again, just keep getting PP's out of it.

Skill zone is when you skate. As 1 player all or most of the game

skill zoning is when you take one player in the defensive zone and sit him in the slot. what youre going on about is position locking. and i will never tell people to position lock, they have a mode for that called EASHL. In this entire video i show ways to be effective while controller your DEFENDER. idk why you chose 30 seconds of a video where i mention skill zoning is effective against better players (which it is) and instead ignore the other 12 minutes of me showing you how to play as a defender.

Position lock and skill zone go hand in hand and 4 you to tell people to play that way is a bitch move

If you think the goaltender in net doesn't matter too much, try using a Hero or Legend Card. Obviously Martin Brodeur is a beast and with my defense stacked with Niedermayer, Lidstrom, Gonchar, and Numminen it's almost impossible to score, but as soon as I switched from Price to Brodeur I've won 15 straight games in division 2 then 1, and have only allowed 6 goals in those games.

cjskate5622 to deter keyboard warriors from trying to explain there points that offer little value to anything involving my vids lol. I'm gonna assume you aren't a content creator but there's nothing like getting a comment that A. Doesn't help you learn about things for future vids or B. Commenting about something in a vid where the kid has completely missed what you're trying get across. Update, those types of comments have slowly stopped haha so I guess it's working

What are you talking about? I didn't say anything about the video being good or bad. I was very specific about what I brought up and he responded in kind (something he could have ignored, he took the time to reply, which is cool). What do you mean "give the guy a break"? There was nothing incendiary about my comment.

Graz DiGraz ah that’s a fair point, on two on ones, always fade the pass as 90% of players will do that, and on that clip that’s what happens. Just something that’s always worked for me

Sleeveless Gaming I play on ps4 but I only play hut and eashl , but my hut team has has the American flag don't think it was me =/ but I like your strats and tips I just don't agree with backing into the goalie cause a skilled player can skate in and make a play, but if it works for you it works for you ya know
