You do such a great job of explaining things. Your sublimation printer review really helped me decide which sublimation printer to get given I already have the Sawgrass 500 model but it’s hard to print designs large enough for larger shirt sizes. I chose an epson 15000 so I could have the wide format option.

It is a messy process and you may have to clean your printer.

The print then cut size cannot be changed.

Ok so.... I'm one of those people that reads all the reviews yet never leaves my own review on Amazon, holiday sites, watches all the KZread videos etc and still no comment. Here is my first, thank you thank you I have tried so many different methods to get my business logo looking good on my garments to no avail. I too questioned why I shouldn't print directly onto the easysubli??!! who am I to doubt you 🤷‍♀ this gives a much more clear and vibrant result fabulous 🥂

I don't have a sublimation printer. Can Cricut Infusible Ink be layered with the EasySubli method?

Great suggestion! I went to their website to look up the product. It does say that it is not compatible with HIPPO ink. sublimatespray.com/product/fade-stopper-7oz/

Thanks for all your videos! How is the texture/feel of the EasySubli afterwards? I don't like the glossy/starchy look and feel of most sublimation on HTV and I'm looking for the softest, thinnest sublimation method possible on dark shirts. I love the feel of Starcraft soft flex htv but it won't hold the sublimation that well... Any recommendations?

You need to make sure that whatever you are sublimating onto has a polyester coating. Not all HTV does.

Hi Jeniifer, is the Siser easy subli HTV the same as Siser HTV or do i have to look for the word "easy subli" in my hunt for it?

Thank you for all the trouble you went through to test and video all the methods and results! It is really hard to find polyester blend t-shirts where I stay (Namibia) and also prefer cotton. Does it have to be a sublimation print, or is there a way to use infusible ink or infusible transfer sheets?

I love your videos! You not only explain each step, you preface a set of steps with any variations you might show. This is especially good for those who are neurodivergent as this prepares one for everything to expect. Just perfect! I have a question: How do I create the "barrier" around a PNG image I want to sublimate then adhere to the HTV so it comes off the mat as one piece? I saw your "Think Happy" image had a barrier or surround of some kind, which I'm guessing stops the Cricut from cutting everything away that is transparent.

Hey Jennifer! I'm in the UK and love watching your videos. I'm currently about to get an Epson Ecotank to start my sublimation journey and its been great to watch and see what I can and can't do as I was thinking and hoping I could sublimate directly onto cotton t-shirts! I just like the thought of the ink infusing into the t-shirt rather than sitting 'onto' like htv does. Just a quick question....what is the difference between using a printable htv and pressing onto cotton compared to what you do in this video? Just think it seems easier to print the image with a normal inkjet printer and then just press it on.....or am I missing something?

It is easier to use printable vinyl with an inkjet printer. The shirt will have the same feeling whether it is sublimation or print then cut because they both us vinyl.

It needs to be one of these. Black will not work. Iron-on vinyl depending on your shirt color, like Siser Holographic HTV (I used Rainbow Pearl), Cricut Glow in the Dark Iron On, or Cricut Iron on Glitter in White -OR- Sublimation Spray Bottle with a Foam Roller You can check out the affiliate links in the materials list. jennifermaker.com/how-to-sublimate-on-cotton/

My sister wants me to sublimate a multi-colored logo onto black toques. The toques I got have texture to them, like ribbing. Would using the easy subli still work? Or do the toques have to be smooth for them to hold up with wear? This will be my first time sublimating but have been a cricut user since the beginning, so I am crafty and can figure things out.

We designed and made them on our 3D printer. We plan to share the print files on our blog at some point for anyone else who wants them. There are two styles -- the one on the left uses PVC pipes, so it’s height adjustable to your needs. The one on the right is all 3D printed except for the table, which is a piece of wood screwed to the legs. Both meet the requirements in Cricut’s Safety Instructions for “a flat and stable surface” as the Cricuts are just sitting on stable tables.

I'm trying to make an end-of-the-year shirt for my son to wear on the last day of school, and I just have one question: can you sublimate on the front AND back of the shirt? I'm worried that reheating the shirt to sublimate on the second side will undo the sublimation from the first side. Thanks.

You can sublimate on both sides but put a barrier on the inside of the shirt like a pressing mat.

@jennifermaker If I have a complex design that contains a lot of white in it. Do I need to add a shape behind the design? That way the Cricut knows to cut around the design and not all of the white pieces? If that makes sense. Do I need to use the welding tool as well for this? And masking, the mask I have was extremely difficult to transfer the vinyl to. I used the scraper tool for 15 minutes plus, is this normal? Is that the bonding process?

I just can't figure out how to make the print and cut work with my F170 sublimation printer which automatically mirrors the image.
