I lived in the 90s and loved it. Kate Moss was everything to me since i am short and was that skinny at the time. If I only had her amazing bone structure. Really liked the obsession campaigns back then.

I love the 90s! I graduated high school in 94 and went off to college. So much fun! I feel like clothes are definitely different now. But maybe that’s cause I’m old! ❤

As much as I do love 90's fashion (I tend to go for the colorful dresses rather than the more minimalist approach) I watched two Instagram videos today by Jeninne Jacob that really resonated with me. What she basically says is that the fashion industry fell so in love with the minimalist "classic" look since the 90's, that it looks like we've been dressing the same for 30 years.

I saw that same video!! So spot on. She’s really nailing the capitalism machine that keeps regurgitating the same thing. I do think we have a bit more nuance to it though also. The fact that we can wear whatever we want and fit into a society is a blessing in a lot of ways compared to 30+ years ago and having the pressure of class systems. We still have so much work and progress to do but I can only hope we’re headed in the right direction ❤️ And give me all the 90s floral prints 😂🙌 y

When I think of the 90s, I also think of the grunge style. It was probably one of the first mainstream styles were women worldwide dressed openly rebellious in rejection of societies norms at the time. Expanding what began with fringe 80s punkstyle.
