Military blue FOR SURE. I think those will likely be a strong contender for sneaker of the year tbh. For me- I personally gravitate towards lighter sneakers in general. I think the white with the touches of blue and grey will make them a perfect spring/ summer shoe. Very excited for those!

I think I finally figured out what makes me scratch my head about your videos. I do like your style and I'm subscribed, but it feels like the only "original" lane carved out is that you wear sneakers instead of boat shoes or loafers. But that's what a bunch of white boys who moved to the city from the suburbs upon securing the good job after graduating college or white bros from wealthy families who got put onto sneakers when they met their first Black dude from the college basketball team. Like, it looks like you carefully curated each piece of the fit... and then decided, "I can make the Bred 4s work with these" Maybe I'm way off, but you seem like the type of dude who, when sneakers fall completely out of vogue with whatever hipsters are called nowadays, you'll just switch back to all white Stan Smiths, boat shoes, Keds, Chelsea boots or whatever is hot in your type of circles at the time.

As far as my footwear rotation goes- this year I’m actually trying to branch outside of sneakers just a bit more and experiment with new silhouettes like more loafers and boots to fit a classier aesthetic here and there. I grew up loving sneakers and always will at my core- but I think it’s always good to diversify your style and try new things. Just did the asics video for example, which I def wouldn’t have gravitated towards a couple years ago. I think trend cycles kind of help you try new things that you likely wouldn’t have otherwise. As for my process; when I make these videos I typically do actually build them around the shoe first rather than curating the fits first. The goal is to highlight the shoe itself more than anything. I also use it as a sign for myself for if I’m going to keep a pair or not.. if I can’t easily throw it on with a bunch of fits I’m getting rid of em asap! Hope this helps.
